Paulus is a minor antagonist in Fire Emblem: Thracia 776. He is one of the many high ranking officials in the Friege army.

Paulus reuses Aizenau portrait with some very minor changes, as Paulus wears a pink cape and blue clothing.
Biography[]
In Chapter 13, Paulus tells one of his subordinates, Rist, how is the situation in Tahra is going, telling that he has the entire city surrounded. Rist requests to Paulus if he should send his forces to attack, but Paulus denies his request and orders him to wait until Baldack's forces arrive. Paulus later leaves, but Rist goes against his orders and attacks the city, which costs him his life.
In Chapter 14, Paulus questions where Rist could be, but Baldack informs him that he and most of his battalion were killed. Paulus blames all of this on to himself, thinking that he costs some many soldiers to die and that he did not agree to attack the city of Tahra. However, he tells himself that he is a soldier and have to follow his master's orders without quest. Baldack tells him if he can start the assault on Tahra, and Paulus agrees to his request, but he is waiting back to get his battalion in position and prepared in case if Baldack's forces failed. However, Leif and his allies were successful in defeating Baldack's battalion before eventually engage Paulus himself. Here, Paulus either dies during the battle or he is captured and released soon afterwards.
