Paxton McCreary is the overarching antagonist and one of the two main antagonists (alongside Charmaine Diyoza) of season five in the CW show, The 100.
He was portrayed by William Miller.
Description[]
In the past, McCreary was a mob enforcer before being imprisoned by the Eligius Company aboard the spacecraft, the Eligius IV. Then he participated in an uprising by the prisoners to come back down to Earth. McCreary is a power thirsty and sadistic criminal who doesn't hesitate to kill those who stand in his way. This is shown when he's about to kill Diyoza before she mentions their unborn child.
Biography[]
Season 5[]
McCreary first appears when prisoners land on Earth after the second nuclear apocalypse. Directly there, they discover that they are not alone after Clarke briefly attacks them. While going to a village, they capture Clarke whom Diyoza interrogates while McCreary tracks Madi.
Along with Diyoza, he then tortures Clarke when they believe she lied after Spacekru arrived. However, she is saved when Bellamy and Madi arrive at the village.
In the next episode, McCreary tortures Raven and Murphy for information on missile unlock codes. But, he in turn is captured and taken to a cave. There, Diyoza agrees that he be killed, not caring about him. Upon waking up, he offers Murphy to pose as a prisoner and return to Diyoza, although Murphy does so to save Raven.
This is when tensions rise between McCreary's group and Diyoza's. Although the latter explains her plans to get the valley calming the groups, Murphy causes chaos and the two groups fight. It is by confronting Diyoza himself that McCreary learns that she is pregnant and has a neck injury.
In the season finale, he tortures Shaw and Raven to make one of them devote themselves to piloting the Gagarin. He is then confronted by Clarke and learns with despair that Wonkru is winning the fight against the Eligius Prisoners. Knowing that he will never be able to get the valley, McCreary launches the missiles at the location causing chaos and destruction all over the planet. After which, he is overpowered by Clarke who sarcastically tells him that he will never know his daughter and kills him by fatally trampling her skull.
Season 7[]
McCreary is briefly mentioned by Raven and Hatch, a prisoner who despised him.
He is also mentioned by Diyoza who tells his daughter Hope that her biological father caused the destruction of Earth twice. She goes on to say that he was a psychopath who Diyoza slept with only to ally him in the mutiny, although this led to Hope's birth.
