Peachbeard is a minor antagonist of the One Piece franchise. He's the captain of the Peachbeard Pirates and a subordinate of the Blackbeard Pirates. He has a bounty of 52,000,000 berries for his head.
He is voiced by Kotaro Nakamura in the Japanese version, and Kenny James in the FUNimation English dubbed version.
Biography[]
In the past year during timeskip, Peachbeard and his crew started sailing under Blackbeard's flag after he became a emperor and Peachbeard claimed he received his epithet from Blackbeard himself. He confidently uses the fame of the Blackbeard Pirates to plunder villages in their name to get what he wants.
The Attack on Lulusia Kingdom[]
After the Lulusia Kingdom's strongest forces left with their royalty to the Levely, Peachbeard and his crew takes this as a perfect opportunity to pillage the island for treasure by starting on the port town. After a young girl named Moda revealed that there was Celestial's Gold in the town, Peachbeard slaps her out of way and waste no time to told his crewmates to search the town for it.
Unfortunately for Peachbeard, he though he got everything under control until Morley shows up, a commander of the Revolutionary Army. Peachbeard ordered his crew to shoot the giant but Morley uses his Devil Fruit power by forming a clump out of the ground and pushed into Peachbeard and his men, and also Peachbeard knowledges that Morley is a Devil Fruit user. He then finally saw the other three Revolutionary commanders being their names are: Lindbergh, Karasu, and Belo Betty. He's shock and wondered why all of them were together in one island, but the Revolutionary commanders ignores his question and wondering what Karasu is saying, he got mad because Peachbeard can't clearly hear him.
The Revolutionary commander Belo Betty encouraged the townspeople to pick sticks and fight the pirates, then Peachbeard started laughing at them for thinking they have hopes of beating him and his crew. The townspeople charges at Peachbeard and his men and easily overwhelmed them thanks to the revolutionaries's help, and for Betty's Devil Fruit power for increasing their strength. After most of his men got knock out, Moda bash Peachbeard's head with a stick and fall down unconscious and his crew immediately abandoned him. He was then tied up and the revolutionaries left him for the townspeople to turn in for his bounty, Peachbeard threatened them all that they'll face Blackbeard's wrath, but one of the Revolutionary commanders replied that Blackbeard does not care to the people working under him, meaning they'll not come for his rescue nor will be avenged by them.
Aftermath[]
Few days after Peachbeard was arrested by Marines, the Lulusia Kingdom, the same island where he was defeated is annihilated on the orders of Imu after Sabo, the Chief of Staff of the Revolutionary Army who departed from the kingdom, attempted to contact his fellow revolutionaries in an attempt to tell them he was not responsible for the murder of King Cobra and everything what he saw in Mary Geoise.
