Larry "Peanut" Romano is a supporting character in the 2006 video game Bully, serving as a supporting antagonist in the third chapter and a minor antagonist in the fourth chapter. He is a student at Bullworth Academy, and one of the members of the Greasers clique.
He was voiced by Joe Aro.
Appearance[]
Peanut has brown eyes and brown hair that is styled in a pompadour with a few strands free on the forehead. In the winter, he dons gray pants and a pair of black gloves in addition to his blue trousers and black shoes and brown leather jacket. He has a nasal voice and resembles one of his fellow Greasers, Ricky.
Personality[]
Peanut seems to have a slight Napoleon complex, despite his ordinary stature. He frequently makes comments about height in his words about fighting and bullying. Examples of his walking phrases include "I'm tired of all these tall punks around! Everyone is really tall. He gripes about his small legs when he is breathless.
Larry is his true name. Though Preppy Chad suggests something else, his moniker appears to be a reference to his small height during the beta phase. Indifferent to his moniker, Peanut boasts to his pals that "the next chump that calls me Peanut, is dead." He may not even know that Tad harbors a special vendetta against him because he never brings up Tad by name. The year before Jimmy moved to Bullworth, Peanut was involved in an event that was frequently brought up in casual conversation. It seems that Thad, the geek, shattered his yardstick over Peanut's head and avoided getting caught. It is also reported that he made advances toward Mandy but to no avail.
Biography[]
When Peanut shows up at the Boys Dorm to inform Jimmy that Johnny Vincent wants to talk to him, he starts the events of Chapter 3. Then, he makes an appearance in Wrong Part of Town, as he chases Jimmy, Chad, and Algie back to school with Hal, Norton, and Vance. By the end of the chapter, Jimmy needs to track down Peanut and use physical force to coerce him into telling him where Johnny is.
Moreover, Peanut plays a part in the non-storyline task. In the scene "Here's to you, Ms. Philips," he overhears Jimmy and Ms. Philips talking and gathers several other Greasers to harass Jimmy as he runs errands for her.
At night, he is often observed egging the Boys' Dorm. He appears to be the Greaser who does this more frequently, even if he is not the only one.
