Pedro, otherwise known as The Player, is the titular villainous main protagonist of the My Friend Pedro series. He is a silent, masked amnesiac who finds himself doing the bidding of a sentient homonymous banana, who influences him into fighting his away out through a torrent of violence and mass destruction against those who want him dead.
Throughout the game, Pedro helps guide the player into killing various thugs and bounty hunters working for Mitch the Butcher, Denny and Ophelia. It is revealed at the end of the game that the aforementioned characters are all part of his family, and the banana is possibly a figment of his imagination: The playable character himself is Pedro, who had since been failing to resist the banana's influence to kill his family, who he perceived as his enemies.

Appearance[]
The protagonist character is a physically well-conditioned man who wears a gimp mask to cover his identity, and equipped with a yellow shirt bearing the letters "XOXO", under a sport jacket. His figment of imagination and corrupting influence is a simple yellow banana with a smiley face drawn on by way of a black marker.
