Pedro Medina is the main antagonist of the 2013 Telenovela Lo Que La Vida Me Robo (What Life Took From Me, in English).
Background[]
Pedro Medina suffered a life-altering tragedy fifteen years before the events of the series began. In a fateful car accident involving Alejandro, the main protagonist, Pedro unfortunately lost his testicles. This incident not only left him physically scarred but also shattered his dreams of starting a family, as he was robbed of the ability to have children.
The aftermath of the accident ignited a deep-rooted vendetta in Pedro towards Alejandro, fueled by Pedro's misplaced blame for the incident. He harbored resentment towards Alejandro, holding him responsible for the accident that forever changed his life. Pedro's desire for revenge simmered over the years, driving him to plot elaborate schemes to make Alejandro pay for what he believed to be a deliberate betrayal.
However, the truth behind the accident remained veiled, unbeknownst to Pedro until the series finale. It was revealed that Alejandro's father was the true culprit behind the tragic event.
Trivia[]
- Pedro is portrayed by Sergio Sendel, who is mostly notable for portraying Mexican Villains in Telenovelas.
- In the final episode he was arrested by Alejandro's brother in law, Dimitrio De Mendoza, he was then beaten half to death by his cell mates leaving his fate unknown.
- This is ironic due to Pedro saying he would rather kill himself than go to jail.
