Pepsiman has to be stopped. He's pure evil, and he'll stop at nothing until the entire universe... is Pepsi.
~ The TV Guy explaining about Pepsiman.

Pepsiman is one of the characters from Cinemassacre's most famous series, The Angry Video Game Nerd or better known as AVGN and is the main antagonist of the titular review made by the AVGN himself. Initially acting as an annoying guest towards the Nerd so that he could review the Pepsiman game for PlayStation, it is revealed that he is an evil entity who ruined the life of the TV Game Guy from the Pepsiman game and has the grandiose plan to convert the universe into becoming Pepsi itself.

He is portrayed by Xander Arnot.

Appearance[]

Much like his video game appearance, Pepsiman can be described as a humanoid entity that has no face that almost looks like Slender Man and has a blue and white skin that covers all of his body. In addition to all of this, the Pepsiman himself has a logo of a Pepsi in the middle part of his body which makes sense as he represented the Pepsi product itself.

Personality[]

Most of the time, Pepsiman didn't speak and instead made random expressions and grunts to communicate with other characters. At first, Pepsiman appears as a seemingly annoying prankster entity who tries to force the Angry Video Game Nerd to play his game by converting some of the games that the Nerd wants to play into the Pepsiman game. Although at one point he does show kindness towards the Nerd by giving him a Rolling Rock beer, it was revealed to be nothing but a sham as he pranked the Nerd by drinking old Crystal Pepsi for his own amusement. It is also stated by the Nerd that the Pepsiman had a sad life because he can't make Pepsi for himself despite being able to make it for everyone.

However, towards the end of the video, Pepsiman himself is revealed to be nothing but a Pure Evil entity who willingly loves to abuse and ruin the lives of others, case in point the TV Guy from the Pepsiman game, and will stop at nothing to convert the universe into Pepsi itself. Pepsiman also had a deep-seated hatred towards the Mentos product because it would make him weak and has the potential to kill him.

Biography[]

When the Nerd tries to do a review on shitty advertisement games about Junk Foods such as the game based on the mascot of Domino's Pizza, The Noid, Pepsiman then appears in the Nerd's room which scares the Nerd while he forces the Nerd to play his game. To that end, Pepsiman converts the other games based on food that the Nerd attempts to play into the Pepsiman game much to the Nerd's annoyance. When the Nerd refuses, Pepsiman then suddenly becomes hostile, and the Nerd has no choice but to comply with his wishes.

During the Nerd's review on Pepsiman, when the Nerd perceive that the Pepsiman isn't that cool to the point he doesn't want to drink a Pepsi and decides to drink a beer instead, Pepsiman converts the beers that the Nerd attempted to drink into a Pepsi much to the Nerd's annoyance. When the Nerd reaches the final part of stage one, he becomes irritated by the stupidity of the story of the game to the point he wanted to stop. However, Pepsiman attempts to stop him to do so and when the Nerd gets disgusted by his breath that smells like tooth decay, he then gives Pepsiman a pack of Mentos to the Pepsiman's horror which results in him running away to escape from trouble.

As the Nerd stated his opinion about the game being a mindless advertisement, Pepsiman returns to the review and seemingly shows his kinder side by giving the Nerd a Rolling Rock beer. However, it was soon revealed that he pranked the Nerd by giving him a crystal Pepsi disguised as a beer much to the Nerd's annoyance. When the Nerd suddenly receives a phone call from a mysterious caller, Pepsiman then becomes panicked and tries to snatch the phone from him. When the Nerd receives a call that says Pepsiman is evil, Pepsiman quickly converts the phone into Pepsi to cover his tracks.

After the Nerd finishes the game, he announces that he no intentions of playing it again and tries to kick Pepsiman, but Pepsiman becomes hostile again. scaring the Nerd. Suddenly, the TV Game Guy appears and wards Pepsiman off with Mentos, revealing Pepsiman's intention to turn the entire universe into Pepsi, having already turned his wife and children into Pepsi. Pepsiman recovers and attacks them, but the TV Guy pushes the Nerd out of the way and is slowly mutated into Pepsi, but not before telling the Nerd to get to the factory. At a Coca-Cola factory, the Nerd and Pepsiman engage in a battle, but Pepsiman keeps regenerating regardless of how much Mentos the Nerd throws at Pepsiman (and by "how much", I mean only TWO). Before Pepsiman can kill the Nerd, the TV Guy reappears with a "Mentos bazooka" and blasts it at Pepsiman, severely damaging him and he falls into a vat of orange soda, killing him and leaving nothing but smoke in the shape of the Pepsi logo.

Trivia[]

  • His death is obviously a parody of the T-1000 from Terminator 2: Judgment Day, due to their appearances being similar.
  • The Nerd's emphasis that Pepsiman can change things into Pepsi is wrong as Pepsiman simply creates Pepsis.
  • In terms of AVGN villains in the series, this version of Pepsiman shares some similarities with R.O.B the Robot.
    • They both turned the Nerd's games into something the Nerd didn't want (by force),
    • Both tried to kill off the Nerd,
    • Most importantly, they both wanted to push their agenda with turning everything around them into morphed versions of what their companies intended to sell (at the expense of putting society's lives and well-being in danger), where R.O.B. took the extreme with turning everything into Stack-Up and Gyromite games that Nintendo intended to sell well, Pepsiman wanted to turn everything into Pepsi (including Pepsiman video games) that the Pepsi company intended to sell well.
