Though he died in the flashback episode, his character left a huge impact between Seraphim and his brother Heron.
Biography[]
In his early years as a king, Periander married Electra and made her his trophy wife. He mistreated her throughout their marriage life and was very demanding of her and say cruel things towards her. In later years, Electra entered a relationship with Zeus disguised as her husband, which lead to inconsistencies of Periander's behavior. One day he's a loving man and the next he's cruel. One day, Periander received a prophecy from Oneiori in his dream that one of his sons is not his but another, he became very ware of this which later effects the events of the series. When Heron was born he notices that the child's eyes did not match him and his wife showing that his dream is true. He attempted to kill Heron and Electra for infidelity but the situation is intervene by Zeus himself.
Zeus appeared as an eagle to attack Periander to save his mistress and son. He is then killed by his wife when she pushed him off an balcony. Afterwards, Zeus saves Electra and Heron but left behind the other son leaving him in the clutches of Periander brother, Acrissius. Due to the death of his brother, Acrisius tried to take the throne and threw his nephew off a cliff but unknown to him his nephew survived and being raised by a servant named Ariana. Later in life, this child would be known as Seraphim, leader of the demon faction.
Personality and Appearance[]
Periander has brown eyes and long hair and beard. He also possesses a bronze tanned skin in a darker shade than his wife Electra's and wears a purple outfit and cape. In simple word, Periander is a cruel and detestable man, who abuses his own wife and see her nothing like a trophy. By his title, he is a ruthless tyrant and has no qualms of using violence and threats towards others including Electra. He holds no affection to anyone including his own brother, Acrissius but it should be noted that their relationship was already strained as it is since Acrissius tried to take the throne right after Periander's death. He is very callous and arrogant going so far to attack a god for sleeping with his wife and have Heron and his wife executed for infidelity even though she did not know she was sleeping with Zeus until later.
