Karl Maxwell, also known as "Persolus" is one of the antagonists of the horror web series, TribeTwelve. Not much is known about Persolus, but he appears to be a member of the mysterious group called The Collective.

Biography[]
Karl Maxwell was born and lived in the city of Vöhrenbach, Germany. A town that was close to the Black Forest, when he was a child he heard stories from his grandmother who told Karl stories about a creature called "Der Großmann", which was a tall, thin, pale and faceless creature that she roamed the forest and kidnapped children and was never seen again.
When World War II had begun, Karl Maxwell moved to the United States and there he served in the US Army and the OSS. In 1944, Karl received a mission to steal Nazi plants disguised as civilians, when suddenly a Nazi soldier arrived at the OSS camp in the Black Forest near where Karl lived, and as soon as he saw the soldier, he realized he was scared. with something he saw.
Until then, strange sounds appeared in the Black Forest and "Der Großmann" appeared through the trees, Karl tried to speak to the creature several times in English, German, Russian, French but the creature did not respond, as soon as the creature approached, he It had no face, Karl opened fire on the creature and one of its tentacles grabbed the Nazi soldier lifting him into the air as he screamed in despair, and then both he and the creature disappeared from sight leaving Karl completely speechless, before leaving, Karl obtained the journal of the Nazi soldier, whose name was written at the beginning of the page "Sebastian Kraus". As soon as the war was over, Karl Maxwell returned home and married a girl named Sonia Maxwell, and he had two daughters named Sharon Maxwell and Mary Asher(née Maxwell).
Until then, he was stalked by Deadhead, a member of the group known as "The Collective", and knowing the risks of this mysterious group, Karl realized that they were after Sebastian's journal.
Karl ended up having grandchildren, Milo Asher, who was born in 1988, and Noah Maxwell, who was born in 1991. The Asher-Maxwell family began to notice something strange about Karl as he talks about the faceless entity that he saw in the war, and they even lived with Sonia without anyone around them.
In 1997, there was a tragedy that ended up changing Karl's life, where he decided to spend a boating holiday with his family, among them: Hendersons, Ashers, Adlers and the Maxwells. On this day, something exploded the boat, making it sink and Karl, instead of saving his wife, ended up saving Sebastian Kraus's diary. Because of this, Mary blames her father for Sonia's death and Karl's stupid idea because of the diary. As time went on, Karl fell into depression after no longer being with his wife, and this caused him to become even more demented and he blames himself for the misfortune he caused.
In 2010, after the death of Milo Asher, Karl contacts Noah after Milo's funeral and asks him to meet at his residence and reveals his story to his grandson, and as soon as he finishes the story, Karl does the Noah forcibly leaves his house and never returns to it again.
Karl has appeared in several Collective videos on Noah's channel.
Role as "Persolus"[]
Persolus is Karl Maxwell's vessel, possibly from the future or an alternate timeline just like Firebrand, the first time that Persolus appeared was in Milo Asher's diary, where Milo nicknamed him "Shadow Karl", Persolus already appeared in Milo's dreams, and even in Karl's residence, where Milo tried to steal Sebastian's diary after open the safe that was in Karl's basement and then Persolus appeared from the shadows and he drops a frying pan from his hand, alerting Karl.
Persolus had his appearance in the video "HAPPYBIRTHDAY" where he appears with the members of Collective and also in a photo on Noah's Twitter during his livestream on February 14th.
