Guest 1314, or better known as Pest, is the deuteragonist of the 2020 Roblox game Regretevator.
He is a humanoid resembling a hybrid between a Guest and an insect, which was caused by radioactive mutation from the water supply at Crest Falls. Having been locked up and tested on at Macabre City, Pest would go on to do some bad things within his cell under the influence of Folly. In recent times, however, DrRETRO broke him out, and the two of them, alongside Melanie, have been working to stop MR and his group of worshippers (such as Folly and NULL).
Appearance[]
Pest is a hybrid between a Roblox Guest and a beetle, with half of his face covered by shadows. He has red eyes, beetle horns at the top of his head, and mandibles that protrude from his mouth. Whenever he grins, Pest's teeth are shown to be white.
For his outfit, Pest wears a black outfit, with the red and white letters on the front of his shirt spelling out "Regret" in Japanese, and the back of his torso having the words "Do you regret your decision?" also written in Japanese. On his left arm, the numbers "1314" are written vertically in red. He also wears a black cap with a red rim, which is a modified version of the Roblox "R" Baseball Cap. Instead of having the letter R on it, however, it is instead replaced with a P, which is slightly tilted to the right.
Personality[]
Pest is defined by his rude behaviour to the other NPCS, often insulting them either in English or Japanese, the latter so that they cannot understand what he is saying. He particularly has a distaste for PartyNoob, who he is said to outright hate, and gets rather irked with them in any of their interactions. He can also come off as cunning, stealing a random amount of coins from players, and also lies when someone calls him out on him stealing their items. Despite this, he does have a kinder side, as he is respectful to DrRETRO and is forgiving of some NPCs such as Spud! and Melanie.
History[]
Guest 1314 was mutated by radioactive substances from the water supply of Crest Falls, which is Macabre City's nearby town. Having received a lifetime sentence for being a Crest Falls contaminate and escapee, as well as general criminality and theft, Pest would be put under a series of tests, and after nearly a year, Guest 1314 would become physically and mentally disturbed, beginning to speak to his own shadow and inflict self-harm. Guest 1314 has been said by DrRETRO to have been meeting a figure in both his dreams and walking stages, speaking to one another frequently. The figure would call him "Pest", which leads to his in-game nickname.
Some time later, Pest would later be broken out by DrRETRO, and thus they would go on to work together to bring down MR and its cult.
In the game proper, Pest will have a chance to appear on the Underground Subway floor when it arrives. Pest will be on the platform and will board the elevator. If Pest does not appear, PartyNoob will take his place instead. Pest will not enter the elevator if it is full or if MR is present, and will instead frown outside of it.
While in the elevator, Pest will stay in one of the four corners. He will remain inside until he either leaves on a floor he can get off the elevator from or is killed by a hazardous object or entity. Pest will also steal up to 5-10 coins from players if they are close to him. Spraying him 40 times with the Spray Bottle will have him demand that the player empties their pockets, stealing some of their coins in the process.

- If Pest is still there when you arrive at the Temple of, Something floor, he will leave the elevator and steal the ruby.
- The reason why Pest leaves on the Turret floor is so he can dismantle the titular turret for scrap.
