Sir Kim, more commonly known by his nickname Pet Shop, is the main protagonist of the web-novel that received manhwa adaptation series I Grow Stronger By Eating.
He is an international criminal and poacher with the ability to transform into any creature he eats. Eventually, he was tracked down by Eddie Montoya until escaping and awakening in a new world, where he furthered his experimentations and animalistic abilities. He allies himself with Prince Edward, the reincarnation of Eddie in order to defeat the Demon King. After defeating the Demon King (as well as his real goal, killing the warrior), he becomes the Hero of the New World. He continues to live on as a mercenary under the name Jack Clark who goes around doing various missions and quests, meeting a new ally named Lionhands Purecreed along the way.

Past[]
In the past, Kim is an anti-social individual that distance himself away from his surroundings, never considering anyone on Earth as the same "species" as he is, even his own parents and brother.
Fast forwarding to his adult-hood, he marries an unknown woman and had two sons. Kim now works as a double-face individual within society, on the outside, he's a kind family man, but within the shadows, he operates as an utterly wicked leader of a crime syndicate, with his special ability of self-DNA alteration, he's able to successfully avoid any possible detections coming from public. However, Kim's happy life was short-lived when he let his guard down one day and allowed an unnamed man to secretly record him demonstrating his ability in a secluded alleyway.
The video eventually went viral and attracted the attentions of an organization known as "White Veil", causing them to sent a task force that tracks down Kim's family and eliminate them, sparing only his youngest child, who they found out to have inherited Kim's DNA (but not his powers.), and brought the unnamed son back to the base where they experimented on him and used him for a superhuman project, though, ensure the captured child would live a free and normal life. In the aftermath of the massacre, the task force was also ordered to capture Kim, who they referred to as the original "legion", only to end up getting killed by him in a fit of rage and outburst.
Not longer later, Kim enters his career as a criminal that works for money in order to buy rare animals (presume to either came from auctions or black markets of all kinds.), and was wanted by the law as an international criminal nicknamed "Pet Shop". He was chased by the law for several crimes he committed such as: mass murder, poaching, engaged in illegal activities, smuggling, drug trafficking, and more that are unmentioned.
It is also mentioned that even secret services and different kinds of criminal agencies wants him, implying he's a hitman for hire too.
Present[]
A few years have passed ever since Kim started his career as a poacher in Africa along with an accomplice, who is actually a spy of the FBI working along with him for 3-years to gain his trust, the spy led Kim to an secluded area where the squad ambushed and successfully arrested him. However, the plan backfired when Kim uses his powers to get rid of the squad that tried to take him into custody and ends up finding himself transported into another world after.
Personality[]
Kim is an extremely violent, merciless, deceitful, cunning, calculative, cold-hearted, and psychopathic man that acts and think cautiously before making his move. Usually, he would form temporarily alliances with one another in order to use them for various means (using them to face off against a bigger threat, gathering valuable information, or forming connections that allows him to enter places that are restricted), or kill them due to posing danger to his own existence.
He is an incredibly power hungry and monstrous man, willing to commit thousands of atrocities if it means benefitting his personal goal of becoming an apex predator. This made him felt no remorse nor hesitation in his wrongdoings and cruelty. Kim also strongly dislikes the fact of becoming another person's underling due to his beliefs that being an apex predator means he mustn't let anyone stand above him.
At some point throughout his journey in the otherworld, he even exhibits behaviors and traits of having a god complex, which made him referred to the rest of the world as "inferior organisms", only seeing himself or those born the "same species" as he is are above all.
Despite all of this, it doesn't mean he's a complete monster, Kim only becomes ill-will towards those that dares to harm, kill, or poses a threat to his own existence and goals. But, most of the time, he would act as a normal and calm civilian that has no issues in obeying the law and engaging in conversations with others, as long as they don't get on his bad side.
Kim would also treat those he considers the same "species" equally, as seen when he discovers a holy knight to have the same powers as he is, he gladly allowed her to join him and trained her to mastered her powers.
"Warrior/Knight" Persona[]
To avoid any suspicions from the otherworld and easily get away with whatever dirty things he's done. Kim assumes a fake identity created with the support of Edward, the new king of the human race.
While he's assuming his "warrior/knight" persona, Kim would act as a calm, collective, wise, and manipulative person that tends to justify his direct murdering actions to the surroundings through the use of explaining things logically, this is how he was able to deceived the whole party and managed to convinced them of what he is doing is reasonable and righteous.

Powers and Abilities[]
Biomorphing[]
This is the main ability of the skill Pet Shop, with this ability Kim can transform into the living organisms that he consumes, whether partially or completely, as well as using their abilities, traits and appearance/physiology by rearranging his own DNA structure.
Super Regeneration[]
This ability is stolen from the trolls he first encounter in the forest, which it grants him a regenerative healing factor, as he is capable of regenerating missing limbs in a matter of seconds.
Reactive Evolution[]
Kim's Pet Shop skill makes not only him, but even the stolen skills, and physiologies becomes more stronger the more he consumes any living organisms that are extremely powerful.
Dermal Armor[]
One of the ability he had stolen are the skins of lizardman, orcs, and dragons, which he possesses the ability to have or can generate an innate armor as a part of his body, which is resistant to attacks, harm, pain, and temperature extremes.
The armor varies from obvious, physical defenses, such as scales, thick skin/fur, natural shield, armor or shell, in-organic skin, etc, to bone-nodules below the skin, particularly wide/sturdy rib cage, blubber, or simply dense muscle.
Dragon Physiology[]
One of the abilities he stolen from the mother dragon that lives deep in the mountains. With this, he has the ability to shapeshift into a real life dragon, because of this, he gains the traits and attributes of a typical dragon, capable of breathing fire, having the strength, durability, agility, and stamina to go on pars with an entire army without much efforts, and even the ability to fly at high-speed, the only limitation is that his own human brain cannot be morph into a dragon's brain.
However, other than this, he can also combined the physiology of this dragon along with the physiologies of other organisms that he consumes on his way, thanks to this, he is able to generate an innate steel-like armor that are even able to resist against the physical attacks of one of the strongest demonic generals.
Parasite Physiology[]
Upon consuming the Demon General of Gluttony, Kim gains possession of having his flesh converting into mind control parasites that follows his orders upon being chew off, or display from his own body. These parasites aren't ordinary, as they either consume the flesh of other beings once they successfully entered their body causing these beings to die instantly, or they would mind control the individuals.
Supernatural Condition[]
When transform into different beings, Kim possesses supernatural capabilities, attributes and aspects that are drastically beyond what is naturally possible. With his condition alone, he can dwarf most beings in his respective universe, being virtually supreme in his existential aspects and attributes. With his superhuman physique, he can defeat all sorts of hostile beings that resides within the woods with no much efforts, one of those includes a fully grown dragon, a tribe of ogres that carries in themselves brute strength, durability, and agility that exceeds the level of a human being, and immortal trolls that wields in themselves endless healing factor that kept them alive even when their heads are separated from their body. With his intelligence combined with the memories of his victims, he can amass knowledge and information about everything, allowing him to analyze, identify, come up with strategies to overpower his enemies.
Gluttony Empowerment[]
Kim's ability known as Pet Shop allows him to become stronger, faster, more durable, etc. by gluttony of oneself, even unlocking potentials of the ones he consumes.
Feral Mind[]
The manhwa had let us know that Kim had literally lost his humanity and became a savage predator that only knows survival, fighting, and killing, basically making him having the instincts of a savage predator that shows no mercy, because of this, he can tap into a primal instinctive state of mind, which can release an unstoppable rage that allows him to perform in vastly increased capacity, taking and inflicting damage that he couldn't or wouldn't in their normal state.
