~ Hologram Peter unknowingly revealing his true self to Lois.
The hologram can take the form of anyone the user wants - in this case, Peter Griffin. It also took the form of previous incarnations of the character, along with Larry from Larry & Steve, Homer Simpson from The Simpsons, and Fred Flintstone from The Flintstones.
Biography[]
After Lois Griffin forces Peter to spend time with his family at a Halloween carnival, he enters the Hallway of Holograms. He meets the inventor who shows him the machine used to create the hologram and trades it for one of Peter's shirts. Peter then takes the machine home while ensuring that his family does not know.
When he arrives in the basement, he uses the machine to create a hologram, before ordering it to perform his chores and spend time with his family in his place. The hologram agrees and takes Peter's place over three days. Peter later sees his hologram happily kissing Lois and gets upset. He tells the hologram that he does not need him anymore, to which the hologram suggests that they go back into the basement and turn it off. When they arrive, Peter notices that the machine is missing before the hologram knocks him out and ties him up.
When Peter awakens, the hologram reveals its plan to take over his life before returning to the rest of the Griffin family. Later that night, Lois realizes that the hologram is not actually Peter and attempts to drive herself and the rest of the family (aside from Meg) away from their house, but she is stopped by the hologram, which had stolen the car keys.
The hologram ties the entire Griffin family up with cables. Peter escapes from the basement and begins to fight the hologram but ends up caught in a chokehold. Stewie manages to generate static electricity by rubbing his feet on the carpet and holds hands with everyone to pass the electricity further, with the electricity ultimately being passed over to both Peter and the hologram through Peter grabbing Lois' foot. The electricity causes the hologram to overload and turn into previous incarnations of Peter, along with Larry, Homer Simpson, and Fred Flintstone, shouting "WILMA!" before ultimately turning into ash.
As lightning flashes over him, he briefly gets a demonic lightning-bolt like shape.
Unlike the real Peter Griffin, the hologram is highly intelligent.
The hologram turning into Homer Simpson and Fred Flintstone is a nod to how Peter Griffin was inspired by the former, who was inspired by the latter. For some reason, the hologram did not turn into Ralph Kramden, the inspiration of Fred.
