Peter Thornton is the main antagonist in season 2 of Dexter Early Cuts.
He was voiced by Jeff Skowron.
History[]
When Peter was young he was very disturbed and murdered his father in a "hunting accident". In college, Peter became a graduate teaching assistant to Dr. Robert Milson. He learned that Milson was a serial killer and Peter became his protégé.
Milson allowed Peter to watch him kill but never allowed him to actually kill people himself which angered Peter. Peter still had hope that he would be able to kill. When Milson was murdered by Dexter, Peter secretly watched and copied Dexter's killing style. Peter stalked Dexter and when Dexter had picked a new target, Jenna Lincoln, Peter found her first and invited Dexter to watch him kill her with Dexter's killing style.
When Dexter confronted him, Peter wanted to learn from Dexter but he shut Peter out. Peter was angered being denied and killed a security guard at the college campus, which caused Dexter to select him as his new target. Peter was invited by Dexter to a location and when he arrived Dexter attacked him, Peter fought back but eventually was knocked out. Peter was then killed by Dexter with a saw and was buried in the woods.

Personality[]
Peter was homicidal at a young age, even going so far as killing his own father. He always had an urge to kill and had no kind of code whatsoever. He was very impulsive and would probably not stop killing.
MO[]
Peter's MO was the same as Dexter's but while killing his father and the security guard, he used different weapons such as a hunting rifle and a blunt force weapon.

- Chronologically Peter was Dexter's first opponent.
- Peter copied Dexter's style except for the disposal method.
