After scaring off the other heirs, they placed dummies painted just like them in coffins to make them look like victims. The plan went awry when they went after Scooby. Although Fred Jones' first trap failed to work, they were soon captured and unmasked. After they are arrested, Scooby, being the only heir left on the island, get the entire fortune. However, the fortune turned out to be all in worthless Confederate money, meaning the lawyer's plan would've been for nothing. |

When Scooby and the other heirs arrived to be read the late Col. Sanders' will, it turned out that they would all have to spend the night at his mansion in order to collect their inheritance. Creeps and Crawls then donned their costumes and proceeded to scare off the heirs so they could keep all of the fortune for themselves.
