Hi. This is Thesecret1070. I am an admin of this site. Edit as much as you wish, but one little thing... If you are going to edit a lot, then make yourself a user and login. Other than that, enjoy Villains Wiki!!!
Even among the monsters born of the Sand of Hours, some are especially evil. The Phantoms who roam my temple take after the evil of their master. Supernatural strength, wrapped in plate armor... virtually invincible. They prowl the temple, searching for victims. No one can harm them. Of course, they were created to be untouchable.
They are an army of spirits summoned by the demon Bellum to take over the Temple of the Ocean King. After Bellum's demise, they guard the Tower of Spirits on behalf of Chancellor Cole.
Centuries ago, the demonic parasite Bellum appeared and battled the Ocean King. After summoning an army of Phantoms, Bellum corrupted the temple and trapped the Ocean King inside, with a piece of the Ocean King escaping and taking the form of an old man named Oshus. Setting the Phantoms as his guards, Bellum continued to rule the temple and spread his influence across the World of the Ocean King.
Phantom Hourglass[]
Bellum kidnaps Tetra, with Link following them into the World of the Ocean King to rescue her.
Link teams up with a fairy named Ciela and a ship captain named Linebeck, and enters the Temple of the Oceam King. There, he sneaks through the Temple as the indestructible Phantoms keep close guard. After gaining the Phantom Hourglass, Link gains the ability to resist Bellum's corruption.
Throughout the game, Link defeats monsters and gains more sand for the Phantom Hourglass, allowing him to return to the Temple and travel further into its depths. As he progresses, the Phantoms become more aggressive and attentive, even sending out drones known as Phantom Eyes to keep a closer watch.
After gaining the Phantom Sword, Link re-enters the Temple of the Ocean King one final time and uses it to slay the Phantoms, eventually making it to the bottom and defeating Bellum, thus saving the Ocean King.
Spirit Tracks[]
The Phantoms return in New Hyrule, this time guarding the Tower of Spirits. Link once again sneaks through the Tower and returns to it throughout the game. This time, he has the help of the disembodied Princess Zelda, who possesses Phantoms to use for puzzle-solving and distractions.
In The Master Trails DLC pack, the Phantom Armor is an optional set that grants Link increased attack power. It is designed near-identically to the Phantoms' designs from Phantom Hourglass as a nod to game's events.
