These slaves. These Children of Israel. I do not like them. Not at all.
~ Seti expressing his disgust for the enslaved Hebrew population.
Send in the guards! Go and find every Hebrew and Jewish baby boy! THROW THEM INTO THE NILE! Let the crocodiles have them. Then these slaves shall know who is Pharaoh who is their god. They shall fear me! They shall worship me immortal Pharaoh.
~ Pharaoh Seti ordering all the Jewish and Hebrew baby boys thrown into the Nile river

Pharaoh Seti I is the overarching antagonist of the 2007 CGI-animated film The Ten Commandments, based on the biblical Story of Exodus. He is the father of Ramses II and the adopted father of Moses and was the one who instigated the extiction of nearly every Hebrew infant at the start of the movie due to paranoia of the Hebrews rebelling against him.

He is voiced by Canadian voice actor Scott McNeil, who also voiced Rover and Flam in My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, Waspinator in Transformers: Beast Wars, Mortum in Max Steel, The Evil Masked Figure in Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed, Dr. Wily in Mega Man, Veigar, Sion and Hecarim in League of Legends, Ali Al-Saachez in Mobile Suit Gundam 00, Antoine Thomas in Dead Rising 2, Voltar in League of Super-Evil, The Overlord, Clouse and Nadakhan in Lego Ninjago, and Tall Boy in Riverdale.

Biography[]

Seti is first seen overlooking his enslaved Hebrew and Jewish populace and consults with two of his administrators about his hatred of them and how he fears that they will rebel against him due to being a mass ensemble. He decrees to increase their workload to break their spirits. When this fails, he decides to have every Hebrew and Jewish male infant of the slaves thrown into the Nile to be eaten by the crocodiles. While this was carried out, one of the Hebrew male infants, Moses, managed to survive because his mother put him in a basket that sailed down the Nile until it was found by the Egyptian royal family and taken in.

Seti is next seen scolding an older Ramses and Moses when they mess up a fountain due to wrestling, but expresses more disappointment in Ramses since he's the future ruler. However, Ramses overseeing the construction of a statue in Seti's honor that is built some time later gets him back in his good graces.

He is not seen again for the remainder of the movie as he very likely died of old age when Ramses becomes the next Pharaoh after Moses returns from exile following an accidental murder of an Egyptian enforcer. Despite this, Seti's past actions still ends up having an effect as his brutal treatment of Ramses has made the latter a much more crueler Pharaoh than him.
