Phillipe (surname unknown) is a briefly appearing antagonist in the giallo film The Case of the Scorpion's Tail.
He's portrayed by an uncredited actor.
Biography[]
Phillipe was an ex of Lisa Baumer, who presumably had an affair with him while still married to her husband Kurt. After she was informed he was killed in a plane explosion and she inherited a fortune from him, Phillipe stalked her on her way back home and cornered her for a confrontation. He demanded a payout in exchange for him not making the police turn their suspicions on her, and despite defiance originally, Lisa acquiesced and gave him a few hundred pounds. he demanded more and arranged a location at his place, which she begrudgingly accepted. Someone was watching them both and stabbed Phillipe at his home, where he hid in a secret room for his protection. When Lisa arrived, she saw him crawl out and bleed to death, but she simply fled without reporting a word to the authorities. Lisa collected her money from Athens, but she herself was murdered by the same killer and her money stolen.
