~ The Cheesesteak restaurant worker talking to Philly as he escapes |
Philly is a supporting antagonist in the first book of Dav Pilkey’s Dog Man book series of the same name.
He is a giant gyro statue that was sprayed with Living Spray, a spray can that turns anything sprayed with it sentient, by The Leader Hot Dog.
Biography[]
When the Leader Hot Dog needed some muscle for the rest of the Weenies, he found a cheesesteak restaurant with Philly as a promotional statue for the restaurant. So, he used Petey the Cat's can of Living Spray to turn Philly to life.
Once they got to the chaos the Weenies and Petey made, they made everyone afraid. Meanwhile, Dog Man, stuck inside the Mutt Masher 3000, a cage with a lowering spiked ceiling, got an idea to throw bones from his shirt pocket onto Philly, which would annoy him enough to destroy the cage. Once Dog Man did it, it worked. However, Philly picked Dog Man up in rage and let the Leader Hot Dog talk to Dog Man. However, Dog Man eats the Leader Hot Dog, causing Petey's Living Spray to fall into fire. Because Living Spray is non-flammable, it exploded, which exploded Philly as Dog Man and Petey flew away to the COPS station and Cat Jail respectively. Then the rest of the dogs that were in the Mutt Masher 3000 ate the rest of the Weenies.
