The 'Picnic Ants are minor antagonist from the TV series, Turbo F.A.S.T. They appeared as the main antagonist from the segment, The Ants and the Grasshoppers.

Biography

Rather than collecting food for the winter, the ants spend their whole summer breakdancing and messing around on the internet. Every year, they rob a family of grasshoppers of their food and keep it for themselves. One year, the grasshoppers hid their food in a maple tree and put together a security system to keep the ants out.

Knowing they couldn't get into the tree themselves, the ants decide to trick Turbo, White Shadow, and Smooth Move into breaking into the tree themselves. As the snails are about to watch a 48-hour marathon of a tv show, the ants show up with their old "Heroes 4 Hire" sign and ask for help. They then lie to the snails that the grasshoppers were the ones who steal their food every year and they set up the security system to keep the food safe. They then ask the snails to test the security system for them. After a little persuasion, the three snails agree to help the ants.

Turbo and his friends soon arrive at the maple tree where the food is being stored and manage to get inside. Despite having a little trouble throughout the trip, they manage to get through the traps and open the food vault. At that moment, the ants show up and gather all the food and take it back to their place. Once they leave, the grasshoppers show up and tell the snails the truth that the ants were the real thieves and the food rightfully belonged to them.

Realizing the ants tricked them, Turbo and his friends decide to help the grasshoppers get their food back using a trick from the show they were watching earlier. They goes to the ants hideout and lie that they wanted to join the group. After proving their worth by ripping a tag off a nearby mattress, they tell the ants about a supply of churros at Dos Bros Tacos. The snails lead the ants to the taco stand and to the churros, but trick them into jumping into a hole that leads to an ant farm owned by Tito and trap them. Tito then comes in, after forgetting to turn off the fryer and discovers the ants in his ant farm and proceeds to play "Earthquake" with them. The grasshoppers later got their food back offscreen.

Appearance

The Picnic Ants look very similar to other ants of the franchise. The only difference is that they are blue, unlike others who are red.

Personality

The ants are greedy, so they do not care about others getting hungry and wanted to satisfy themselves by hoarding lots of food, even if it means robbing an innocent family of grasshoppers of their food and leaving them starving for the whole winter. They are also manipulative, as they easily tricked Turbo, White Shadow, and Smooth Move into breaking into the food vault for them by stroking their egos and pretending to be the victims.
