Biography[]
Early life[]
Pierce worked as a security guard at Level 33.1 and had been hired by Lionel Luthor. During the time he spent working there, Pierce came to regard Kryptonite-enhanced individuals with fear and loathing, having had to track down and sometimes kill several of them during his career.
Season Seven[]
Lionel hired Pierce and his team to kidnap Clark Kent for his "protection". At his barn, Clark was suddenly attacked with a Kryptonite taser. He manages to fend off his attacker, Pierce, by picking him up and throwing him across the room but his attacker called in reinforcements. They stormed in and shot Clark with more Kryptonite tasers before knocking him out and captured him.
Pierce transported Clark to a facility that Lionel had built, with a kryptonite cage. Clark woke up in the cage and Pierce deliberately powered up the cell exposing him to kryptonite, and warns him to stay in the center of the cell. Clark tried to break out, but he was unable to do so. Pierce controlled the intensity of the Kryptonite lining, and he threatens to increase the Kryptonite charge even more if Clark tried to escape again.
Lionel entered the control room of Clark's cell and ordered Pierce to stop torturing Clark. Lionel revealed that he built the cell to contain Clark, not to harm him in any way. Later, Lana Lang and Chloe Sullivan enter Lionel's LuthorCorp office and show him the kryptonite taser. Patricia Swann demanded to see the Traveler but when Lionel refuses, she claimed to have evidence linking him to the murders of Edward Teague, Robert and Laura Queen.
A worried Lionel watched Clark stumble around his cell. Patricia entered the control room and orders to see the Traveler before handing over the incriminating evidence. After Patricia saw Clark locked up, she demanded his release but Pierce knocked her out while Lionel took her briefcase.
Lionel ordered Pierce to discreetly bring Clark back home, but Pierce refused and pulled a gun out. Pierce told Lionel that he hated meteor freaks and that he wanted Clark dead as he was a threat to national security. Lionel denied that Clark is a threat, but Pierce knocked Lionel out before increasing the kryptonite charge to a fatal level. Clark collapses to the ground in pain.
The doors suddenly burst open, and Kara Kent arrives blasting the controls with her heat vision. She lifted the cage off of Clark and threw it towards the control room, shattering it. Pierce stepped forward to shoot Kara and Clark with a kryptonite taser, but Lionel hit him with a bar from behind. Pierce fell out from the overhead window and impaled on an iron rod, killing him.
