Piggy is the main antagonist of the Dog Man franchise.
He is a nefarious pig who is the arch-nemesis and former childhood friend of Petey the Cat, who, alongside Crunky and Bub, betrayed Petey during their time as Critter Scouts, making Petey have revenge against them. Now, Piggy, now leader of the F.L.E.A.S. (a team composed of him, Crunky, and Bub), wants revenge back on Petey.
Appearance[]
As his name suggests, he is a pig who wears glasses and a red and orange striped scarf.
Personality[]
Piggy, as the leader of the F.L.E.A.S., is incredibly bossy and demanding, and holds a huge temper. He is consistently annoyed with his teammates Crunky, Bub, and later Daryl, Ducky and Mike due to their antics, which he believes to be annoying, and makes him lose his cool easily, as shown when he starts having a tantrum after being forced on a shirt that Daryl made for him.
Piggy is also incredibly selfish, and he doesn't care about the well-being of his teammates, believing that all they did was eat, laugh and make ridiculous songs that made him angry. He shows his selfishness by stealing all the muffins that Crunky and Bub made, refusing to share even one muffin with Ducky the beetle, and abandoning Crunky and Bub. He's also a bit of a hypocrite, calling his teammates selfish despite being selfish himself.
Along with these traits, Piggy is incredibly manipulative, tricking Daryl into helping him steal the Hope Mood Ring and using the Friendly Friends Action HQ for his own goals, whilst fooling the others by making them believe that fear and anger made people happy.

When he was a small piglet as younger, Piggy, along with Crunky, Bub and Petey were members of the Critter Scouts. One day they played mini golf when the Critter Scout leader excuses to get his coffee. The scouts then take their youthful fun by imagining themselves (inspired by Lord of the Flies) that they were at the island, but Crunky and Bub (as hunters) chase Piggy and Petey through the cliff. All of a sudden, Piggy's lost his specs, whom a hungry shark ate it(actually a dolphin statue), and reality hits as it's revealed that Piggy merely dropped his specs. Piggy, Crunky and Bub than snitch on Petey, blaming him for the reckless imaginative incident & getting him kicked out of the Critter Scouts, but Petey got his revenge by calling the Animal Rights Union, which caused the shut down of the Critter Scouts in spite against his three former friends.
Years later in Lord of the F.L.E.A.S, Piggy schemed his revenge plot against Pety for having their pointless lives to suffer since Critter Scouts was shut down, disguises himself as a guidance counselor that Petey was told to see. Piggy reveals what he planned to do. He planned to wipe out Lil' Petey, whom he believed was what Petey loved the most, and laughs uncontrollably, but unfortunately for him, Petey puts on his disguise and tricks the guard into going into Piggy's mouth, before doing the same to Crunky and Bub.
Piggy and his gang are defeated by Chief and Millie with books after they try to attack them, but they escape on their Robo-Brontosaurus thanks to Dog Man distracting them. They make a run-in with Petey and Lil' Petey and begin chasing them. Unexpectedly Sarah Hatoff appears to interview Piggy and he explains what 'The F.L.E.A.S.' stood for: Fuzzy Little Evil Animal Squad, only to met by complaints by Crunky and Bub. The trio are beaten up by Chief, Millie, Sarah and Zuzu, but Piggy captures them with a robotic claw on the Robo-Brontosaurus, and loses Petey and Lil' Petey after they escape underground.
Later, Petey and Lil' Petey, now on a giant robotic version of Petey, find the villainous trio, where Petey attempts to zap them with his shrink ray, but Lil' Petey accidently scares him, causing him to drop it, and exposing them to the F.L.E.A.S.. Piggy promptly attacks them by zapping lasers at the robot, slowly reducing it to an endoskeleton. Petey and Lil' Petey escape to the top of the robot, where they fall and are rescued by Dog Man, as the Bark Knight, and 80-HD.
Lil' Petey than makes a knock-knock joke to Piggy, who exclaims that it isn't funny, but ends up getting annoyed as everyone else, except Petey, all double over in laughter. Piggy proceeds to make his own "funny" story about three evil villains (The F.L.E.A.S.) who build a Giant Robo Brontosaurus that had a killer death ray.", whom Lil' Petey find funny. Lil' Petey, Dog Man, and 80-HD than rescue Chief, Millie, Sarah and Zuzu, and Petey takes controlk of his giant robot to battle the Brontosaurs. Initially, Piggy had the upper hand, but he immediately begins losing after being distracted by a knock-knock joke from Lil' Petey
After battling for hours, the robot now pulled on the tail of the Robo-Brontosaurus. Piggy makes his way to Petey and begins manipulating Petey into joining him on his conquest for evil, claiming that they could rule the world together, Initially, Petey was slowly getting convinced, but he is immeidiately unconvinced when Piggy starts making fun of Lil' Petey. Petey then scolds Piggy for insulting his 'son', so Piggy promptly breaks the bond between the tail and the Brontosaurus, sending the robot into a nearby building.
Piggy then turns around and finds out that Crunky and Bub were gone. He uses binoculars to find out that they were playing with fireflies with Lil' Petey. He angrily confronts them and gets annoyed with the three's antics. He then drives the Brontosaurus back to the scene, where Dog Man, seeing Lil' Petey inside, tries to attack it, but is thrown into a Cannery Grow building, becoming incredibly huge. Piggy and the F.L.E.A.S. appear, and Piggy starts gloating to Lil' Petey, claiming that he won, and gives him a chance for a final word, but Lil' Petey takes control of 80-HD, flies off, and comes back with brown spray paint and a giant black marker. Realizing this, the F.L.E.A.S. quickly close the hacth as Lil' Petey uses his tools to dress the Brontosaurus up as a giant squirrel. He promptly yells out 'Squirrel', causing Dog Man to wake up and destroy the squirrel. The others arrive, and Petey shrinks Dog Man and the 'squirrel'. Chief then tries to take the squirrel to apprehend the F.L.E.A.S. but Dog Man doesn't let go, and when he does, the F.L.E.A.S. had already escaped in Dog Man's fur.
The FLEAS return in Brawl of the Wild, the three escape from Dog Man's fur and set out to steal Petey's abandoned Shrink Ray to use to shrink Petey's broken robot that he created in the previous book. Inside the robot, they stole a dog mask and police outfit from a costume shop and disguised themselves as the Dogman, robbing banks that night. Because of this, Dog Man was framed and sent to a dog prison owned by a cruel warden.
They later steal a can of Living Spray from the factory and escape, only to be ambushed by Sarah and Yolay Caprese. The two then unmask the dog and realize that it was F.L.E.A.S all along. They then try to use the Living Spray on a nearby car, but are stopped by Zuzu, who catches the spray in her mouth. They then all chased Zuzu to the newly renovated Gassy Behemoth Studios, which had been converted into a movie theater.
Inside, Sarah and Yolay beat up the robot. However, they learn that the F.L.E.A.S escaped and took their Living Spray to spray Claymation Philly (the clay version of Philly in the Dog Man movie that played on screen). They then escape and secretly hide in Petey's fur. However their havoc was stopped and were ultimately defeated despite that.
In For Whom the Ball Rolls, The FLEAS want to hypnotize Petey to do their evil bidding, but a hug with Big Jim switches their patients. They hypnotize Big Jim anyway, turning him into Commander Cupcake. Crunky and Bub overthrow Piggy by having Big Jim flick him out the window. Piggy gets stuck with Daryl the Moth. Piggy nevertheless wreaks havoc when he steals the Hope Diamond Mood Ring using Daryl as a tool. This plan also gets thwarted when Daryl goes after Uncle Larry (Petey's Ratterfly). Piggy goes flying and Big Jim catches him, sending him to prison.
The FLEAS return in Twenty Thousand Fleas Under the Sea. Piggy gets mad at Daryl when he doesn't send him a can of Cannery Grow, until Mini Jail gets destroyed by a dog named Mr. Stinkles. Then, Piggy escapes with Daryl and leaves Crunky and Bub alone.
Daryl takes Piggy to a size-changing flying submarine, where the real Uncle Larry is. However, Crunky and Bub had been able to follow them using two prisoners named Ducky and Mike to fly themselves to the others. Then, they all go inside the submarine. Dog Man notices and tries to stop them, with Sarah Hatoff joining in. Then, they walk by Petey, Li’l Petey, 80-HD, and Molly. Sarah motivates them to help, and they start doing it.
Meanwhile, the people on the submarine throws pies from the sky to random pedestrians while singing an annoying song. Then, 80-HD flies him and the others to the submarine, where Piggy uses the chance to shrink the submarine as he escapes secretly. Then, Piggy slaps the submarine, which gets stuck on his hand, and then itches his nose, where the ship lands and is busted.
Then, Dog Man, Li'l Petey, and Molly go and grab the fallen propeller from a sweat gland. However, they accidentally wake up a demodex mite named Junior in the process, who had eaten up every person on the submarine except for Bub and Mike. Mike then throws a pie at Junior, who gets to taste it, and enjoys it. Then, Mike forces Junior to spit their friends back out so that he could get more pie. So, Junior does and goes back into the sweat gland he was originally in with the pies. Then, the submarine is fully repaired, and they resize it to make it very big.
When that happens, it destroys a castle Piggy had bought from his stolen money he robbed while the others were stopping Junior. Then, the people in the submarine grab Piggy, as they are very, very big, and put him in a hamster cage, as Crunky, Bub, Mike, Ducky, Daryl, and Uncle Larry sing an annoying song to Piggy and keeps him as a pet.

- Piggy was originally going to appear in Dog Man: Mothering Heights, as revealed by Pilkey during a How-to-Draw video on the character. However, the final book does not include nor mention him. He later returned in the eleventh book, 20,000 Fleas Under the Sea.
- Piggy's stature might be a reference to Tippy Tinkletrousers, while his glasses may be a reference to Melvin Sneedly.
- While it is not truly confirmed that Piggy will appear in the movie adaptation of the series, he, along with his henchmen Crunky and Bub, as well as Dr. Scum have been theorized to appear and most likely will.
- In the banner of Dog Man: Mission Impawsible, the upcoming video game adaptation of the franchise, his silhouette can be seen at the top of the building with a key. This shows that the mysterious villain told in the synopsis of the video game is most likely Piggy.
- This was later confirmed once play footage was released.
- As revealed in a few read alouds made by Dav Pilkey (as shown above), Piggy is seen to oink when he talks.
