Piglins are supporting characters in Season 3 and minor characters in Season 4 of the AvM Shorts.
They are mutated pig-like mobs originating from the video game Minecraft, inhabiting the Nether dimension and being known for their lust for gold. They have variants like the hostile Piglin Brutes and undead Zombified Piglins. Hoglins are a quadruped subspecies of Piglins, and are used as mounts for them.
An army of Zombified Piglins and Zoglins reside in the Nether Fortress and, despite their typically neutral behaviour, attack anything on sight. Beside the Fortress is a Bastion Remnant, which houses Piglin Brutes who formerly served King Orange. While most Piglins are villainous, they are still capable of heroism, as seen with the Piglin Tribe.
Overview[]
Piglins are naturally spawn in the Nether and will attack anyone who are not possessing any golden material, including wearing a golden armor. They use golden swords as weapons and ride hoglins. Once seeing a gold-equipped stranger, they greet them friendly and they can be collaborated in a combat or trade. So far, the series portray the piglins under a group called Piglin Tribe, who initially acted hostile towards the stick figures but later ended up becoming their ally against King Orange.
The opposing variants of piglins are called zombified piglins, who are the more zombie-like versions of the original piglins. The zombified piglins are in a war with the piglins, attacking any piglin once they see. Similarly with them, they also use golden swords as weapons and ride zoglins, the zombified variants of hoglins.
Another variants of piglins are piglin brutes, who are the stronger versions of the original variants. Unlike piglins, the brutes will attack any stranger they see, even if they also have lust for gold. In the series, they reside in the bastion remnants and are portrayed as the King Orange's minions.
