| ~ Pim as he goes insane while killing Charlie Dompler, who repeatedly blames him for their situation. |
Pim Pimling is the main protagonist of the Smiling Friends episode "Curse of the Green Halloween Witch." He's a Smiling Friends Inc. employee usually tasked with helping people smile.
Though his original counterpart is not a villain, Pim is driven mad within an alternate reality by the curse of the Green Halloween Witch, in which he murders all of his closest friends/coworkers as revenge for never paying attention to him.
He was voiced by Michael Cusack, who also voices Mr. Frog, Grim, and James in the same series and Mammon in Helluva Boss.
Personality[]
At first, Pim is a benevolent, optimistic, excitable, and friendly individual who also cares about his friends and loves to make people smile, characteristic of his usual demeanor.
However, over the course of the episode, he turns psychotic, maniacal, and sadistic due to the curse and its psychological abuse. He kills all of his friends in various brutal ways because of how they keep ignoring him and taking him for granted. He is also shown laughing hysterically, even as his surroundings light on fire and turn surreal.
Victims[]
- Charlie Dompler - Choked to death.
- Allan Red - Sprayed with insecticide.
- Several of Allan's spider babies - Stomped on.
- Glep - Face broken with bare hands.
- Mr. Boss - Stabbed in the chest repeatedly with a knife.
- Blue Janitor Dude - Drowned in a bucket of water.
- Total - 5+
Trivia[]
- While it's not confirmed, it's possible that Pim's fall into villainy and the episode in general is meant to be a dig at the "lost episode" creepypasta trope. This is for several reasons: characters suffering bodily harm in graphic detail; one of the main heroes going insane and killing everyone else; a character (Boss) crying tears of blood with hollow eyes while looking at the viewer; and everyone's characterization being off, which is even pointed out by Charlie himself.
