Pin is a recurring protagonist within the BFDI franchise. She placed 20th in BFDI, tied with all the former BFB contestants for 16th to 55th in BFB due to quitting, and currently is competing in BFDIA (within that current timeframe) and TPOT.
She is voiced by one the series co-creator Cary Huang, who also voices most of the characters such as 8-Ball, Grassy, Marker, Match, Tennis Ball and X.
Appearance[]
Pin is a red plastic pushpin with a grey spike on top. In BFDIA 5a, she lost her limbs because of Puffball, in BFDIA 11, lost her face because of Ice Cube, and in BFDIA 12, was turned small by Ruby. In BFDIA 14, she was given a mech suit with cables, as part of her regaining her size and face. She replaced the cables with a battery in BFDIA 15 and became paper in BFDIA 15. Between BFDIA and IDFB, she regained her limbs and lost her mech suit as Golf Ball used her red pigment to create limbs. She turned red again after IDFB.
Personality[]
BFDI[]
Pin was very self-righteous and egotistical, antagonising Woody and Blocky most of the time. When she was eliminated, she believed that she shouldn't have been. This was mostly because Pin refused to use her win tokens because she thought she did nothing wrong. She was not very smart, getting a C- in the 3rd challenge, being a test. Due to this, she was eliminated early in the season, counting rejoins, she placed 20th overall, being 2nd last.
BFDIA[]
Pin is notably nicer to her teammates during the season, as she gained a bond with Coiny. She still held some of her rude traits, such as when she told Teardrop that she wasn’t a real contestant, or how she dismissed Spongy after he wanted an apology for Coiny killing him. She started to be more vengeful throughout the season, as she started holding a grudge against Freesmart (except Bubble) for removing her face and size or being a jerk to her in general.
IDFB - TPOT[]
Pin is more upbeat and kinder during this season, as she retained her bond with Coiny, tries to make more friends, and is way less self-centered. She also joins in helping prevent death, redeeming herself.
Biography[]
In the first season, she competed on the Squishy Cherries. She was very ruthless to people like Woody and Firey, even sabotaging the former for petty reasons. In the second season, she competed on W.O.A.H. Bunch. During this season, she went through a lot of changes. This included losing her limbs, face, and size before gaining the latter two in BFDIA 14. She developed a hatred for Ruby, Pencil, Ice Cube, and Book, but her hatred of the latter seems to be gone now by BFDIA 15. She started to lose her jerky attitude during the season. In IDFB, Golf Ball used her red pigment to create new limbs for her. In BFB, she competed on The Losers! along with (including but not limited to) Coiny, Firey, and later on, Leafy. She abandoned her chances of winning BFB to join TPOT. During these episodes, she became more nicer and more caring about Coiny, competing on Team8s and later Death P.A.C.T. Yet Again, redeeming herself.
