Pinhead is the secondary antagonist of the 2011 horror film Hellraiser: Revelations which is unrelated to the previous entries in the Hellraiser film series. In this entry, a teenager named Steven Craven seeks revenge against his former best friend Nico Bradley for killing him and taking his skin as a means to escape the Labyrinth after solving the Lament Configuration. As a result, the leader of the cenobites Pinhead offers Steven revenge by turning him into a cenobite to aid him to track down and bring Nico back to the Labyrinth.
He was portrayed by Stephan Smith Collins and voiced by Fred Tatasciore who also voiced Shao Kahn in the Mortal Kombat video games, Bane and Solomon Grundy in Batman: Arkham City and Kakuzu from from the English-dub of Naruto.
Biography[]
Pinhead and the cenobites are summoned by a teenager named Nico Bradley when he acquires and solves the Lament Configuration Box while on vacation with his best friend Steven Bradley in Mexico. While Steven has sex with a prostitute in the next room, Nico is abruptly taken to the Labyrinth and is severely tortured by Pinhead however, when Steven discovers the box, Nico is able to communicate with him through the box and demands his help in setting him free from The Labyrinth by killing multiple people and feeding their blood to the site where Nico was taken. Steven reluctantly agrees and kills the prostitute he was with and after a few grisly murders, he refuses to further kill any more people, prompting Nico to kill him and use his blood to take escape The Labyrinth and take his skin. A skinless Steven lays dying and is approached by Pinhead who offers him revenge in exchange for his service for all eternity to which he agrees and thus, Pinhead turns him into a cenobite called Pseudo-Pinhead.
Nico impersonating as "Steven" returns home with the puzzle box while his family along with Steven's family; The Cravens look to uncover the mystery of Nico's disappearance and after a series of investigations, Steven's sister Emma discovers the puzzle box and is bombarded with visions of torture and mutilation as well as sexual arousal, the two families soon uncover the existence of the cenobites and the puzzle box, resulting in Nico shooting his own father Ross and holding the two families hostage at gunpoint, he exposes the adulterous affairs between the families and forces Emma to solve and open the box to take his place which she does so and in return, Pinhead and the real Steven Pseudo-Pinhead arrives at the scene and immediately tortures and kills Nico's mother Kate for speaking out as well as restraining Nico with his hook-chains and torturing him. Pinhead also takes notice of Emma's sexual desires for Nico's father Ross and harasses her. However, as he is about to take Nico with him, Steven's father Peter defiantly shoots Nico, killing him which prompts Pinhead to take his wife Sarah as a replacement as Peter dies in Emma's arms.
