Pink Tiger is a Destructoid of the DARK organization and an antagonist in episode 13 of Android Kikaider.
He is voiced by Teiji Omiya, who also voiced Green Mantis and Scorpion Brown, and later voiced Red Hakaider.
Biography[]
Pink Tiger was ordered by Professor Gill to obtain a special circuit that Dr. Komyoji had hidden somewhere in an amusement park, and to blow up the park on Sunday regardless of if he had obtained the blueprints for the circuit. Leading a group of Android Men, Pink Tiger kidnapped Jinbei, an android that Dr. Komyoji had built for the park, and interrogated him on where Dr. Komyoji had hidden the circuit. Jiro attempted to intervene and stop Pink Tiger, but Professor Gill played his flute to cause Jiro to be incapacitated and get stuck on the tracks for a rollercoaster. However, Jiro was able to use the sounds of the rollercoaster to block out Professor Gill's flute and jump off the tracks before he could be run over.
Pink Tiger and his goons then brought Jinbei to an isolated location, where they tortured him by running an electric current through him until he spilled where the location of the circuit was. However, Jinbei was able to send a signal calling for help to Jiro, as he was a fellow robot built by Dr. Komyoji. Jiro followed the signal to where Jinbei was and obtained the circuit blueprints from him before he perished. Jiro then became Kikaider and destroyed Pink Tiger with his Denji End finisher. Jiro then disabled the bomb Pink Tiger had set in the park to blow it up before it could go off.
Pink Tiger was later rebuilt alongside the rest of the first 13 Destructoids to test out the power of Silver Tortoise.
