Pirate Man is a minor antagonist in Mega Man & Bass. Bearing the serial number KGN-004, he worked as a pirate, raiding seas with his Remote Mine, which had him fire a bomb from the cannon on one of his arms. His other arm has a pincer, which means he has no proper hands. Pirate Man makes his lair at the bottom of the ocean, with his battle taking place in a treasure vault.
Personality[]
Befitting his overall status as a pirate captain, Pirate Man is fearless and ruthless when it comes to his lifestyle and will do whatever it takes to reach his goal while holding and maintaining a cruel and unforgiving personality. He loves making and achieving profitable money when it comes to his nefarious activities while disliking the concepts of fairness. His despicable personality ended up putting his name on Dive Man's list of rivals. Despite his dislike of fairness, however, Pirate Man is willing to lend his Remote Mine to his opponent upon defeat.
Appearance[]
Pirate Man wears a magenta pirate captain's coat and equally magenta pirate hat. His eyes are green and he covers his right one with an eyepatch. His left arm is a cannon that lets him launch his remote mine, and he has a pincer claw on his right arm, possibly to reference the hooks that pirates might have on their arms.
Biography[]
Pirate Man's stage is unlocked by defeating Cold Man or Astro Man. In battle, Pirate Man can fire Remote Mines from his cannon. He usually does this three times. Pirate Man can also create a bubble that he enters to bounce around the stage. The water in the room will slowly descend over time, and if it is low, Pirate Man holds his right arm toward the sky and spins his claw to refill. His weakness is the Wave Burner, which can cause him to fall out of his bubble. Pirate Man will yield his Remote Mine upon defeat. Pirate Man is the fourth boss to be fought in the boss rush, with his room also being underwater.
