Well, if it isn't Lone Starr, and his sidekick, Puke.

100,000 spacebucks?! Ha-ha-ha-ha-ha! You forgot late charges which brings the total up to 1,000,000.
~ Pizza the Hutt

Pizza the Hutt (also known as Pizza) is a mobster who serves as a major antagonist in the 1987 science fiction film Spaceballs by MGM. He is a parody character, both of Jabba the Hutt from Star Wars, and the restaurant franchise, Pizza Hut.

He was voiced by the late Dom DeLuise.

When the main protagonists, Lone Starr and Barf fail to pay back the crime lord Pizza the Hutt, Pizza the Hutt threatens the two, telling him that they must obtain 1,000,000 space-bucks by tomorrow or, according to his minion Vinnie, "Pizza is going to send out for YOU!".

This is the driving force for Lone Starr and Barf's quest to save Princess Vespa, after King Roland, the king of Druidia, asked Lone Starr and Barf to rescue his daughter from Dark Helmet.

At first, they wanted nothing to do with rescuing the princess as they were number one on Dark Helmet's hit list. But King Roland said he would give them anything to rescue his daughter. After hearing that, Lone Starr and Barf told the King, give them 1,000,000 space-bucks and in return, they would rescue his daughter from Dark Helmet and the Spaceball armada.

Once Lone Starr successfully saves Vespa, as well as saving Druidia from literally suffocating to death, it has been discovered that Pizza the Hutt somehow got locked in his limousine car, which resulted in him eating himself to death. But despite Barf suggesting to Lone Starr that they could keep the money for themselves, Lone Starr refused the reward money. Instead all he asked Roland for was some money for gas, food and tolls.

  • The Pizza the Hutt costume is actually made from real cheese.
  • Recently, in the 2012 TV show; TMNT, a villain by the name; Pizza Face, is a complete parody of Pizza the Hutt.
  • 6 years after Spaceballs, Dom DeLuise also played Don Giovanni in the 1993 film Robin Hood: Men in Tights, also directed by Mel Brooks.
