Oh. I wouldn't be so sure, Jupiter.
~ Planet X

I've spent millions of years alone. Maybe I had a name and forgot. Maybe... I simply never had one. But you can call me... Planet X.
~ Planet X

Planet X is a major antagonist in the internet web series Solar Balls, serving as the overarching antagonist of the The Moon Revolution Arc, The Moon Club, The Solar System Trials and the main antagonist of The Search for Planet X Arc, and The what if we replace Jupiter Arc. He is the hypothetical Ninth Planet, who was ejected out of the Solar System by Jupiter and Saturn billions of years ago. Currently, he resides in the outer regions of the Solar System beyond the Kuiper Belt.

Biography[]

The Army of the Moons[]

Planet X is first mentioned by in 'The Army of the Moons', After Jupiter realizes his Galilean moons disappearance, comes to the conclusion that Planet X has returned, thus causing paranoia as he goes to search for them.

Jupiter is Missing![]

As Jupiter approaches the Kuiper belt notices something in the distance prompting him to call out in shock. However, the object disappears, leaving him uncertain. After Jupiter brushes the whole issue off and returned back to his orbit, Planet X observing the Solar System from a distance, watching the scene.

What if the planets were ordered by SIZE? - Part 1[]

After the Sun had reorganized the Solar System by size, Jupiter, now in Neptune's orbit reveals his extreme schizophrenia of Planet X's return towards Saturn, who shows great compassion towards him. Jupiter also mentions about Planet X's ejection out of the solar system, by himself and Saturn. Planet X is referred to as "The Fifth Giant" by Jupiter, expressing his fear to Saturn. While Saturn, meanwhile, is more worried about the secret around their past being revealed to the others.

The Disturbance in the Kuiper Belt![]

After Ceres had been discovered to follow Pluto and Charon back to the Kuiper Belt, the Dwarf Planets brushed it off and heads back from the shadows of the Kuiper belt, which Planet X watches as he is angry at Pluto for being exclusive of Ceres.

The Solar System Trials - Part 3[]

After a verdict was decided by the Sun, which banished Ganymede and Europa from the Solar System. Planet X is seen watching the Solar System from afar. It is unknown if he has any objectives or intentions with the banished moons.

Search for Planet X - Part 1[]

After Saturn questioned to Jupiter why didn't he save the two moons from being banished, Jupiter brings up them trying to reveal the secret, but Saturn tells him it was in the past. Planet X doesn't play a major role as he is only seen watching the two gas giants from afar, and with Makemake tasking Ganymede and Europa on a mission to search for Planet X.

Search for Planet X - Part 2[]

After Ganymede and Europa drifted out while they were asleep, the two of them noticed an odd gravitational influence happening. Planet X, who was asleep was noticed by the two moons, prompting Europa to ask who he is, waking him up. Planet X begins to speak, saying he's been alone for billions of years, with the two moons shocked, he adds that he doesn't know his name but they can call him 'Planet X.'

Search for Planet X - Part 3[]

After the two moons were shocked to see Planet X, even with him knowing who they are, stating that he's been watching the solar system from afar. Then Planet X demands the moons to answer if they are on Jupiter's side which Ganymede answers that yes. As Planet X hears that, he disappears, disappointed. The two moons then debate on Jupiter's integrity, which Planet X interrupts the two and says that they should follow him to his hideout. They arrive at a space, which the two moons were confused at first until Planet X shows the moons the view of his past home, the solar system, and he had to be here because of "him", namely Jupiter. And finally, Planet X starts to narrate the story of the beginning.

The Big Bang - Part 2[]

During the Early Stages of the Solar System (Explained by Astrodude.) A Young Planet X approaches Saturn, greeting him, with the Ice Giant examining he doesn't have a name, so he went by the name 'X' or 'Planet X'. Jupiter from the other side the Asteroid belt asks who Saturn is talking to and the trio begin talking to each other before being interrupted by the Sun who calls for Jupiter. After Jupiter's discussion with the Sun, Planet X remained ignored and told off by the two gas giants. Once Jupiter began to cross the Asteroid Belt, Planet X warns him not to, before Jupiter slammed into two rocky planets. Once Jupiter is pulled through the Asteroid belt which causes two other Rocky Planets to go flying in the Sun. Both waking up and screaming as the Roche limit incinerates them. Planet X, along with Jupiter and Saturn look in horror as the debris covers in the inner solar system with Jupiter feeling terrible for what he did.

The Big Bang - Part 3[]

Following 'The Great Tack' Planet X tries to make him confess to the Sun what happened, but Jupiter tells him he needs some time. Only for the Sun to scream in horror once he noticed the Rocky Planets were disintegrated. Once Jupiter begins lying (with Saturn helping) Planet X gets mad and tries to go tell the Sun himself but Saturn intervenes and covers for him. Jupiter tries to go back into his orbit but the Sun tells him to stay where he is for fear of more instability and turns around. Planet X scolds Jupiter and Saturn about what they and tells them to confess but Jupiter worries about the Sun’s actions. Planet X disregards Jupiter's concerns saying they all live in the Sun’s solar system and says if Jupiter won’t confess then he will.

After some time, Planet X returned to the two Gas Giants. Jupiter again says he needs time to explain himself to the Sun but X thinks he’s just stalling for time until he moves on. X heads to the asteroid belt to tell the Sun what happened but Jupiter holds him with his gravity. He warns X not to cross because the rocky planets are still forming and Planet X mocks Jupiter for suddenly caring about them. X tries again to get closer to the Sun but Jupiter begins pulling him back with his gravity. Planet X argues he’s only trying to save himself and Jupiter calls for Saturn to assist him in pulling X away, causing Saturn to intervene and assist Jupiter. X struggles to break free refusing to be silenced and in one big effort, they pull with too much force and cause Planet X to get flung to the Kuiper Belt and beyond. X tries calling Neptune and Uranus to help him but they don’t notice him and continue playing as X screams for help. Once Planet X is ejected, the Sun questions his absence, to which Saturn replies he’s gone. Jupiter lies and says X left to explore other Solar Systems which sets the Sun off, roaring in frustration.

Planet X Returns! - Part 1[]

After Planet X finished telling the story of the Great Tack to Ganymede and Europa, allowing the two moons to understand the truth behind Jupiter's mental illness and paranoia. Planet X continues by addressing the fact he was flung out of the Solar System by Jupiter and Saturn, and that he was too afraid to return to the Solar System until he saw the actions done by Ganymede and Europa during The Solar System Trials.

Admiring the actions done during the Solar System Trials, Planet X requests the two Galilean Moons to be 'his lawyers' for his case, and for the two moons to be in the Solar system again, once he reaches the Sun. While the two Galilean Moons question about joining Planet X's 'case' the Neptunian Moon Proteus finds the two moons, telling the two how the Moon Club wanted them to return. After Proteus finds the 'hideout', the two Galilean Moons tell Planet X that they're in his mission, causing them, along with Proteus to head towards the Solar System.

Planet X Returns! - Part 2[]

Personality[]

In The Disturbance in the Kuiper Belt!, Makemake references a Gravitational Anomaly happening in the Kuiper Belt. The group later finds Ceres and suspects he is the cause, while it is Planet X. Later Planet X watches the group from afar, angrily frowning at the dwarf planets. This hints that he could be bitter about being forgotten and isolated by the others after his ejection.

He has been enduring solitude for billions of years, watching the solar system from afar. It can be inferred that he heartily loves his lost home, namely the solar system, so much that he spent all his time "watching and listening to everything that has been going on there", meaning he likely knows about the Moon Revolution and Earth's attempt.

His vengefulness against Jupiter and Saturn are revealed once he returns to the Solar System, even refusing to talk to Jupiter after he protected him from incoming asteroids due to Sun's intervention. He does some manipulative manners, such as telling Uranus and Neptune that they won't be neglected or left out, along with pronouncing Uranus's name correctly.
