Planktonamor is the main antagonist in the SpongeBob SquarePants episode "Dunces and Dragons".
Just like his original counterpart, he was voiced by Doug Lawrence.
Personality-wise, Planktonamor is basically same to his modern-day descendants Plankton and Dead-Eye Plankton albeit as notorious as the latter. In Planktonamor's case, it is because he posssesses a great power over magic and ability to control Dragon Jellyfish.
Planktonamor was the medieval ancestor of Plankton. It was stated in the prophecy that Planktonamor wanted to rule King Krabs' Kingdom, Bikini Bottom Shire. He had his dragon jellyfish terrorize the kingdom and pushed King Krabs into his nerves that he came close to execute the two knights who have been foretold to stop him (SpongeBob and Patrick) and ultimately, kidnapping his daughter, Princess Pearl, whom he planned to kill unless the kingdom was surrendered to him. Not long after his dragon jellyfish kidnapped the princess, King Krabs apologized to both knights and sends them off to save the day alongside Squidley.
Later, the Dark Knight fools the castle guards into letting them in by pretending to torture SpongeBob, Patrick, and Squidley. After climbing a very high flight of stairs, the four manage to rescue the princess and engage in combat with Planktonamor. They are soon attacked by the dragon jellyfish, but just when all hope seemed lost, SpongeBob managed to become friends with the monster by feeding it krabby patties. Having made amends with SpongeBob and the gang, the dragon jellyfish burns Planktonamor, reducing him to ashes. The wizard then says one last line "Curses! You win.".
Powers and Abilities
- Magic: Planktonamor excels in using magic.
- Lightning Blasts: Planktonamor can conjure blue electrical blasts, but the blast seemed to be notably weaker as it only strong enough to employ tickle torture.
- Dragon Jellyfish Taming and Control: It's implied that the secret of his ability to control his dragon jellyfish was by taming it with its favorite, explaining why his pet turned against him upon tasting better meals from both SpongeBob and Patrick.
