Hey. Hey! You guys started killing us first. You wanted us to die. That's how you planned to win the vote, wasn't it?
~ Player 192 to Team X, accusing them of starting the bathroom fight.

Player 192 is a minor antagonist of the Netflix K-Drama Squid Game. He is a player in the 37th Squid Games and member of Team O.

He is portrayed by Jang Tae-min.

Biography[]

Player 192 is a South Korean man who ended up in large amounts of debt, leading him to participate in the 2024 Squid Games. He gets throught the first 3 games fine, then participates in the bathroom fight against Team X. He holds his own against a few Team X members, then when the fight ends, he warns the other Team O members that the X's started a fight for no reason (leading to a riot being incited.) Player 192 decided to team up with the O players and kill the X players at night, killing as many as possible, until the guards step in.

He joins Im Jeong-dae and Kim Yeong-sam in mocking Gi-hun after his rebellion fails. During Hide and Seek, he ends up on the Blue Team, but ends up switching vests with Player 440, who he later stabs and murders despite promising to protect her.

He ignores Geum-ja who pleads and begs him not to continue the games after the fourth round, proceeding to vote O.

In Jump Rope, he follows closely behind Player 442. He is doing fine until Player 096 takes advantage of the game to push off all players trying to take all the money for himself. He loses balance and instinctively grabs onto Player 442, killing them both by having the Jump Rope hit them.

Personality[]

Player 192 is a greedy and remorseless man who is not above any ruthless means to win the money. He is one of the more sadistic and violent players and quickly kills the woman he switched vests with in Hide and Seek, whom he promised to protect. He also very coldly ignores Geum-ja when she tearfully pleads him to stop, despite him looking possibly guilty while listening to her. Despite everything, he seems to have a friendship and get along with Player 442 and other Team O members.
