The Playhouse Friends are the secondary antagonists of the Alfred Alfer series.
They are imaginary friends existing within the mind of Alfred Alfer, a dog who copes with the sexual abuse he received as a child, retreating into the titular "Playhouse", a magical world that distorts Alfred's horrifying reality into fun and silly child-like adventures. As the series progresses, the Playhouse Friends begin to hurt and molest Alfred under the control of the series antagonist, Dictator Pickles, Alfred's evil jaded alternate personality whose existence revolves around sabotaging and torturing him.
Portrayals[]
The Playhouse Friends, being multiple different characters, are voiced by a multitude of people.
- All the Playhouse Friends with speaking roles in Alfred's Playhouse were voiced by Emily Youcis, who voiced Alfred and Pickles in the same series, Labby in The Alfred Alfer Movie, Phat Dawg in Alfred Alfer and Phat Dawg and herself in DA EMILY SHOW, among with most of the other characters in the Alfred videos.
- The Playhouse Friends in Return to the Playhouse are voiced by, respectively:
- Dukelovesyou as TV Man.
- Tristian Zammit as Lil Tristy Doll.
- Veronica Stratton as The Littles.

Notable Playhouse Friends[]
The Ghosts of Hitler and Stalin[]
The Ghosts of Hitler and Stalin are the secondary antagonists (alongside the Burritobell Employees) of Rise of Alfred. The Description of Rise of Alfred describes Alfred's tendency to think of himself as a "Dictator" stems from the presence of Hitler and Stalin's spirits inside his head, who control his thoughts and actions. Although never outright stated in the short, with the implication in Alfred's Playhouse that Dictator Pickles has some form of control over the Playhouse Friends, along with his obsession with the concept of being a dictator, it's implied that Hitler and Stalin are simply extensions of Pickles.
Laverenti Beria[]
Laverenti is a middle-aged bald man who spends all his time sitting on his chair and watching the events around him unfold with a perverted, unnerving gaze. The real life Beria was a violent child rapist. In Ascent of Alfred, a man resembling Beria almost exactly can be seen in a photograph with Alfred, implying that Laverenti was Alfred's mind's perception of his abuser: an ever-present, uncomfortable force always just out of the corner of his eye.

MC Bushpig[]
MC Bushpig is a Frankenstein's-Monster-esque entity with a human torso and the head and legs of a pig. In his narratorial debut, EAT MY ROTTEN MEAT 2012, he's shown waking up, discovering the abomination that is himself having started existing, and is visibly angry and in pain. Because of this, he goes on a murder-rape-mutilation-torture rampage and, through a series of disgusting imagery, causes a tidal wave of diarrhea that causes an entire city to collapse, leaving it a rotting wasteland filled with ruin and corpses. With the presence of Alfred, Dictator Pickles and Schoolgirl Alfie all in the same place, it's implied that this is still all within Alfred's mind after Pickles took over. With how Alfred can be seen inhabiting the real world in American Alfer, it's implied that it's actually Pickles in this short, and that MC Bushpig is really a physical manifestation in the world of Alfred's mind, representing it's corruption and descent into depraved villainy.
Labby[]
Labby was Alfred's friend who lured him into a sense of security and happiness and then abandoned him in the aforementioned wasteland, before later finding Alfred and raping him. He's a clear amalgamation of Alfred's parents and Beria, seeing as he looks almost identical to the man in the APH1 flashback and what one would assume Alfred's parents look like.
