The Pleiades are group that exist in the Overlord light novel/manga/anime series serving as supporting villainous characters. They were considered Nazarick's last line of defense.
History[]
The Pleiades were the last line of defense to hold up off any intruders that breach Floor 8 in the Great Tomb of Nazarick to buy time for the guild of Ainz Ooal Gown to reach throne room to make an final stand as they are unable to defeat threat any threats that gone that far and mere serve to distract them, though that purpose never came to be.
When the game YGGDRASIL was about to shutdown Momonga decided to take them excluding Aureole Omega to the Throne Room and kneel. However when the Great Tomb of Nazarick got transported to the New World all of it’s members were given life and sentience where Momonga had Sebas scout the area while having the rest guard Floor 9 while he speak with the Floor Guardians.
Ainz Ooal Gown would have Sebas Tian and Solution Epsilon go undercover as a butler and a noble’s spoiled daughter to learn in E-Rantel, Lupusregina Beta would be assigned to Carne Village to protect Enri Emmot, Neia Baraja, Lizzie Bareare, and later Nemu Emmot added as well, Narberal Gamma would be his adventuring partner as Momon, with the rest unknown tasks.
After Ainz initally thought Sebas betrayed him and tested his loyalty he had him step down as leader of 5 Stars and initaller Aureole Omega as the leader now in it’s Pleiades Seven Sisters formation from here on out with Yuri Alpha as co-leader due to not wanting to move Aureole outside of Nazarick yet while ensuring some command in the group.
The Pleaities excluding Sebas (Who went back to Narizarck with Tuadre to ensure her safety), Auraole (Who still in Nazarick) and Narberal (who is Nabe in public at the time) pose as Demon Maids of Demiurge's Jalabaloah alias. He had doubles of them during the events of Holy Kingdom arx to not hold back while not accidentally killing them then had them return under the pose of them being under Ainz' part of his deal to helping the titular Holy Kingdom, to not rouse suspicion when one is kept alive such as CZ2128 Delta is taken as "prisoner" and brought back with Ainz to the Sorcerer Kingdom.

Trivia[]
- The Pleiades have a titular spin-off series Pure Pure Pleiades where the main members star in it. Sebas Tian and Aureole Omega are excluded though Sebas has some appearance as he technically not a member of the group but helps them out and Aureole is likely left out either due to her appearance not being revealed yet and/or to prevent spoiling her reveal.
- All the Pleiades never were all in the field due to Aureole Omega stationed in Nazarick until the events of Holy Kingdom to boost her sisters abet offscreen behind the scenes.
- All the Pleiades are human or have human looking forms with the exception of Entoma Vasilissa Zeta as she only wear a simple disguise as a human while not completely changing her insect form.
- Nearly all the members dislike humans with exception of Yuri, CZ2128, Lupusregina as Nerberal see them below her, while Solution and Entoma see them as food. The only exception are Aureole Omega or humans Ainz Ooal Gown deemed useful.
- When Ainz Ooal Gown brought that issue up, he asked if he should kick Aureole Omega out of Nazarick for being an human, Solution said and pointed out she see her not as one due to being a created NPC and Immortal Human being seen as a separate race to her.
- Though while Lupusregina doesn't hate humans she sees them as playthings sometimes with the exception of Aureole Omega due to being an NPC and later Enri Emmot gaining her respect through her achievements.
