Pocane Daniro is the enigmatic holder of the Dark Casino. In fact before inheriting that position he was part of Space Outlaws Deathgalien. Pocane Daniro serves as the main antagonist of Doubutsu Sentai Zyuohger Returns: Life Received! The Earth's Monarchs' Decisive Battle!.
He is portrayed by Hayashiya Taihei.
History[]
Pocane Daniro used to be a member of Space Outlaws Deathgalien under Ginis whom he later got tired of as Ginis only killed for thrill, while Daniro's interest leaned to money. Therefore he deserted and began holding an illegal gambling ring in a Dark Casino where shady figures could put bets on contestants who fought for their pleasure. All while not knowing the true nature of the matches they took place in.
The Zyuohgers soon arrive at his newest match sometime after they defeated Ginis and come to the initial fight between all players in the match. Pocane Daniro introduces himself and only allows the victorious contestants in for the large VS matches. Yamato (Zyuoh Eagle) is disqualified so he teams up with Bud who infiltrates the true nature of these games and they spot Pocane as he turns a petrified man who came to gamble that couldn't pay up into a jewel. With this he could make a hefty profit so when those two figure out he attempts to silence them. Only Bud is turned into a Jewel with Yamato escaping. Tusk (Zyuoh Elephant) and Amu (Zyuoh Tiger) also join Yamato as they formulate a plan to end Pocane's cruelty and bid for more money.
Meanwhile innocents are witnessing what they see as an innocent match while the shady figures are still gambling as Daniro wants. Using Cube Condor those three disguise themselves and our heroes arrive and start gambling to blend in with the rest of the crowd. Later they bet on the Jewels if Mondo Misao their sixth hero wins over Lilian who Pocane bets their heavily accumulated money on. When Misao starts to beat Lilian fair and square, Pocane starts bending the rules by adjusting the borders and torturing the human. The two rivals still end up in the same place as how it would have with Lillian losing to Misao but the former does not trying to play any trick when this happened. Instead they honorably accept each other. Ultimately this exposes Pocane who runs away.
As a final plan he revives the Deathgalien generals whom are systematically defeated by the Zyuohgers as they also free the people that became Jewels. Together Bud and Yamato become Zyuoh Condor and together defeat Pocaine before they all finish him off with their robo.
Personality[]
Pocane values money with high regard as he would murder for it. While he seems like an okay arena master at first he truly is selfish and out for himself, willing to sacrifice anyone that doesn't pay up or who sees his criminal activities. He also has a low opinion of Ginis' thrill seeking mentality.
