| “ | More bad apples than Sainsbury's, at policing, we're the best! Yeah, we go around strip-searching kids as young as eight. Take photos so we can send them to our mates. But, if you challenge us, we'll smash your head on a grate. | „ |
| ~ The police singing about their brutality. |
The Metropolitan Police Service (MPS), often shortened to the Met Police are supporting antagonists in the 2025 vodcast spin-off to the political satire show Spitting Image, Spitting Image: The Rest is Bullsh!t.
They are depicted through song as the violent, bigoted and incompetent police force in Britain in light of the growing nationwide scandals that emerged after numerous investigations in the UK.
Personality[]
The police force are depicted as a hegemonic force that face little to no accountability for their brutality and misogyny. They seem to believe that they are skilled at their jobs despite their crimes, as well as being grossly perverted.
Physical appearance[]
The police are depicted as predominantly middle-aged, Caucasian men and are dressed in standard British policing uniforms.
Biography[]
Prince Harry introduces the song as a segment in his vodcast. The police sing Misogyn Knees Up, which demonstrates the force's misogynistic abuse of women in public, racist profiling, incompetence and impropriety. They describe how they molest women, self-describe themselves as racists and homophobes, force children as young as eight into strip searches, photograph dead bodies for their own sexual pleasures. A woman interrupts the song and tells them to stop, which they swiftly ignore.
The Police return as The Fun Police in light of the real-life litigation from Studio Canal (named Studio C-Anal in the show) against Spitting Image for their use of Paddington Bear. They warn everybody to enjoy the show whilst they can before it is taken down.
