The unnamed Police Commissioner is one of the two secondary antagonists (alongside Tso Sai Kit) of the 2018 action film Master Z: Ip Man Legacy, a spin-off to the Ip Man film series.
He was portrayed by Brian Burrell, who had previously played the emcee in Ip Man 2.
Biography[]
This police commissioner was first seen releasing Kit and his gang due to Kit bribing him.
Because of this, Kit decides to seek out Tin Chi, with his whole gang setting his shop house on fire one night. Tin Chi barely escapes alive with his son.
After Fu exposes the drugs to the media, Davidson has corrupt police officers set up Fu on a false drug charge. This police commissioner personally brings Fu to Davidson only for Fu to be killed in an unfair fight.
After Cheung fought Davidson, the commissioner attempts to arrest Cheung for assault however he ended being arrested by lieutenant Fai for assault and corruption.
It is unknown what happened to him after that but he may have been fired and gotten tonnes of prison time.
