PolyCon Corrections is an American private prison company based in New York, and a major antagonistic organization in the Netflix series Orange is the New Black. It owns various for-profit prisons across the US, including Litchfield Penitentiary, the setting of the show. It was previously called Management & Correction Corporation, shortened to MCC before a rebrand.

MCC owns multiple different prisons across America as for-profit institutions. After much financial difficulty as a state-owned prison, warden Joe Caputo manages to facilitate a change to private ownership under Management & Correction Corporation. This is initially celebrated as it meant saving countless staff jobs as well as stopping transfers due to prison closure.
However, MCC's frugal policies start to impact the prison negatively. At first, the organic produce served to the inmates is replaced with bagged, boilable food. This disappoints prison chef Galina Reznikov who took pride in her cooking and complains. This falls on deaf ears as little could be done from the staff's perspective.
PolyCon later encourages Caputo to make several staff redundant to hire lesser trained staff at lower salaries. This results in incompetent staff members being hired, as well as Aydin Bayat who was insufficiently vetted and was a hitman in inmate Alex Vause's past. PolyCon also hires some labourers to repair a fence who are also improperly trained as they leave a large gap in the fence unattended. When Norma Romano notices this, she runs, which causes a mass breakout across all of the inmates.
In response to the breakout, MCC sends through maximum security guards, including Desi Piscatella, who brutalises many of the inmates. In response to Piscatella's brutality, insufficient officer training, austere spending policies and unfair treatment, the inmates start a peaceful protest which results in the death of inmate Poussey Washington after CO Baxter Bayley suffocates her when restraining her.
After Poussey's death is falsely reported as part of a PR strategy for MCC, the inmates start a riot (which also keeps Linda Ferguson trapped inside the prison), resulting in Dayanara Diaz keeping COs Bambi McCullough and Thomas Humphrey at gunpoint. MCC then hires riot guards, including Herrmann who are violently trigger-happy, resulting in Piscatella's accidental death and further brutality against the inmates.
After the inmates are transferred to different prisons after the riot, MCC rebrands to PolyCon to evade association with the riot. Linda offers CEO Jack Pearson an ultimatum where she foregoes suing PolyCon for neglect by letting her get caught in the riot, or she is significantly promoted in PolyCon. Linda then becomes heavily involved in Litchfield's Maximum Security Prison's management, and announces PolyCon's expansion to facilitate detention centres as well as prisons. The centres are improperly maintained, where many detainees are denied of basic human rights. Mass child deportations are held within the same day to the upset of Natalie Figueroa.
PolyCon encourages some of its maximum security inmates to appear in a promotional video which lies about inmates receiving education programmes, nutritious food and recidivism. Ultimately, PolyCon does not face any consequence for its mismanagement and maltreatment of the inmates it looks after and the staff it employs, and continues to open more prisons.
