Hi. This is Thesecret1070. I am an admin of this site. Edit as much as you wish, but one little thing... If you are going to edit a lot, then make yourself a user and login. Other than that, enjoy Villains Wiki!!!
Pop is a minor antagonist in the television series The League of Gentlemen. A local businessman in Royston Vasey, Pop is a lecherous, sexist, perverted and mentally unstable Greek drunkard who is particularly infamous for abusing his two sons.
Pop first appears in Series 1, where he meets up with his two sons, Richie and Al. When Richie explains to him that nine Maverick bars were stolen by some kids while he was manning a newspaper booth, Pop flies into a rage, preparing to beat his son with his belt. However, Al convinces him to stop, to which Pop agrees to do so, disowning Richie and declaring Al to be his 'only son'.
Pop appears again in Series 2, where he meets Al's new girlfriend Patricia for the first time. After making them dinner, he disturbs Patricia with his antics, making lecherous comments about her physique, saying he was worried that Al was a homosexual, and goes into great detail about a pornagraphic film called 'The Assmaster'. Eventually, he ends up scaring Patricia away, leaving Al in tears.
At some point after this Pop was arrested for killing a man and Al in order to move on lied to his daughters saying he was missing at war while being happily married.
Personality[]
Pop is a rude, cruel, mean spirited, perverted, misogynistic and abusive man who has the most extreme and over the top reactions to every given situation, he is also incredibly boisterous, arrogant, mean spirited and sadistic. He doesn't seem self aware to any of his bad traits and although he does the best he can to come across as nice he always manages to fail horribly due to his unpleasant and naturally cruel personality.
