Porchemy

Porchemy is a major antagonist of the Post War Flashback arc in the One Piece franchise. He is a member of the Bluejam Pirates who was infamously known for scalp the heads of his opponents if they dare lose against him.

He was voiced by Masashi Sugawara in Japanese and Patrick Camacho in English.

History[]

Porchemy was commanded by Bluejam to deliver the treasure to him by getting it inside Goa Kingdom. When one of his crewmate being attacked and got the treasure stolen by a child named Ace, Porchemy and his crewmates start searching for Ace to get it back. While they're searching for the boy, they heard someone screaming in the forest and go to investigate. Porchemy caught Luffy and he calling out Ace's name for help, Porchemy was surprise that the kid knows who Ace is and asked him if he knows where is the treasure that Ace stole from them, Luffy attempted to lie his way out and say he don't know. But Porchemy easily saw through it and that he is a terrible liar. Porchemy grins and tell not to worry, because he'll help him bring his memory back and took Luffy away with him.

Several moments later, he attempted to convince Luffy to speak by coercion, his first attempt was unsuccessful by using a large mallet. Once he learns that Luffy has a devil fruit, he orders his crewmates to get him a pair of "spiked" gloves and starts torturing Luffy with it. After hours of trying to get Luffy say the location of their stolen treasure, Porchemy is tired and done torturing the kid then grabs his large scimitar to murder him, but Ace and Sabo got in time to rescue Luffy. Porchemy say that they made the things easier by showing their faces to him and tells them if he was beaten by kids he will quit being a pirate as a result and clash with Ace and Sabo to battle. Sometime later, Porchemy laid down defeated, his captain, Bluejam, heard the whole story and disgusted that he get beaten by kids, Porchemy tries to apologize to his captain, but Bluejam tells Porchemy not to look at him and don't even want to see his face, then Bluejam shot and killed him for his failure.
