~ The Battle Memory on the Pork Trooper. |
The Pork Trooper is a major antagonist in Mother 3. He initially appears in Chapter 4 as an NPC, and is the main antagonist of Chapter 5, only appearing later on in Chapter 8 as an NPC once again from there.
The Fierce Pork Trooper is obsessed with the DCMC, a band in the game's universe which he collects plenty of merchandise from thus corelating to his defeats at the hands of Lucas and friends. Based on the dialogue of other Pigmasks, plenty of them think he is the army's head honcho, however there are plenty higher ranking members than him. Where he rests in the ranks is unclear, but it's likely that he's lower on the ladder than Fassad and the Masked Man.
Personality[]
The Pork Trooper is an obsessed hardcore dedicated DCMC fan, being easily swayed by the mere sight of DCMC merchandise. it's implied that he's a good leader, as the battle memory describes him as taking care of his underlings. However, the Pork Trooper is still ruthless to the denizens of Tazmily, commanding the Thunder Tower to strike the houses of those who have not bought Happy Boxes with lightning. He also shows little respect towards Lucas and Boney when they first meet.
Biography[]
The Pork Trooper can be found early on in Chapter 4 of Mother 3, visiting a DCMC concert at Club Titiboo sitting with two women. Here, he sniffs out Lucas and Boney disguising to stay inside. However, he does not attack them despite being aware of the club's rules and who they are.
Later on in Chapter 5, the Pork Trooper initially mistakes Lucas and Company for the Commander and his soldiers. This fools him into lending them the Pork Bean after theirs slips on one of Fassad's banana peels. The Pork Trooper ends up sniffing them out once again. Once he finds out about Lucas' plan, he tries to beat him up only to be taken down by the group and flee, but not before he slips on a banana peel himself.
Near the end of Chapter 5, the Pork Trooper returns with a new look seeking revenge on Lucas after their last confrontation. However, things don't change much, as Lucas' group once again remains victorious against him.
After this point, the Pork Trooper doesn't appear again until Chapter 8 at the final DCMC concert, where he is much friendlier to the group, just wanting to enjoy the show.
