Powrie is an evil goblin that lives in Scotland stealing the vital energy of men leaving every hundred years, until trapped in the duke's castle for a long time. He appears in the first episode of Masters of Myths, as the initial antagonist.

Appearance[]

The Powrie is a small-medium height anthropomorphic goblin with dark aquamarine green skin with certain spots and/or freckles of a darker tone, as well as his eyebrows. His ears are long and pointed, having certain bites in them. His eyes are red, he has light red and quite curly hair, plus a flat nose and sharp teeth. His hands and feet only have 3 sharp fingers (looking a bit like the limbs of some bird or reptile). His clothing consists of a closed black vest, plus a short-sleeved shirt and long white pants. He wears a long red cap with a torn part to look (simulating more like being a goblin), with which he covers part of his head except for the mouth.

Personality[]

This is a monster that feels no empathy for any of its victims, and even takes advantage of them to obtain their vital energy by targeting the smallest children.

Description[]

The Powrie awakens every 100 years to feed on life (sucks lifeforce), getting stronger as he does. While the Powrie enjoys feeding on humans, it's especially drawn to humans with high levels of life energy which unfortunately for us is babies. As signified by cap it wears glowing as it drains life.

History[]

In times past he used to attack people at night while they were alone: first he absorbed their vital energy while his cap turned an incandecent red, until they fell weak and died. When he went to visit an old castle he was trapped in a dungeon, with no way out for a long time.

He was accidentally released from prison by the jester who released him from the dungeon. Hiding in the corners of the castle, he quenches his thirst for innocent souls that reside there, without being caught by any of the guards to capture him. Crying out for his help, the duke called on "The Team Legend" to defeat him: using a device, similar to a runic box, that imprisons the monsters within (being his mission number 100). After a difficult search, the goblin was captured by the runic box, giving it to the duke under his care –to use it for tourist purposes–.

Leo, after taking off the ship, notices that something strange happens again in the castle, taking the course back. The team when talking to the duke, he tells them that: the invention of The Brotherhood was mysteriously destroyed, freeing the goblin from the trap and being loose in the corridors. The team set out to trick him by using Alebrije, dressed as a baby, inside a crib as a decoy. The goblin, chasing who he believes to be an infant, climbs into the cradle tied by a rope and is dragged to the ship, absorbing Alebrije's vital energy little by little. The creature's cap is snatched away by Leo, revealing its curly red hair, causing all the crew members to laugh at how ridiculous it seems. Full of rage, the powrie jumps on top of the boy to remove his hat, but is tied by The Sugar Skulls (which does not last long), because then he gets rid of the rope and tries to kill Leo San Juan. Fortunately, the boy drops his cap into a boiling cauldron of soup, ending the life of the diabolical goblin.
