Prawn is a minor antagonist in the 2003 video game SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle For Bikini Bottom, and the 2020 remake Battle For Bikini Bottom: Rehydrated, as the third boss of the game. According to Barnacle Boy, he put Mermaid Man's white clothes in a washer with a red sock, making them turn pink. He is the archenemy of Mermaid Man.
He was voiced by Doug Lawrence, who also voiced Plankton, Robot Plankton, and Admiral Prawn.
Biography[]
Battle for Bikini Bottom[]
After SpongeBob deactivates the Mermalair's security system, it also deactivated the VCS (Villain Containment System). Barnacle Boy realizes that one of the villains broke free. After Mermaid Man is done guessing who it was, Barnacle Boy informs that it was much worse, Mermaid Man's arch enemy, Prawn. Mermaid Man is immediately enraged. After some teasing, Mermaid Man leaves and Barnacle Boy leaves SpongeBob to defeat Prawn.
Boss Battle[]
Prawn will use his backpack to create soundwaves to try and damage the player. Afterwards, the tiles surrounding him will begin to shuffle. The player must find an opening in the tiles and use the Bubble Bowl to attack Prawn. After repeating the process three times, Prawn will be defeated and is frozen once again. Afterwards, Mermaid Man rewards SpongeBob with a golden spatula.
SpongeBob's Truth or Square[]
In the console version of SpongeBob's Truth or Square, Prawn makes a cameo frozen under a large glass jar in the Mermalair. SpongeBob mistakenly calls him Man Ray or Dr. Shrimp.
Captain Pipsqueak[]
19 years later, Prawn makes his official appearance in the SpongeBob SquarePants cartoon in the episode "Captain Pipsqueak", appearing alongside several other villains auditioning to join Every Villain Is Lemons.
Trivia[]
