President Mineishi is the overarching antagonist of the Junji Ito manga Hellstar Remina.
He is the CEO of the Mineishi Corporation, who hires Remina Oguro as a spokesmodel when she becomes famous following the Hellstar Remina being named after her. When the planet Remina causes mass-hysteria centered around the Oguros, Mineishi decides to set up a secret project where the wealthiest people on Earth can escape and live on the planet Remina, though he decides not to take Remina with him, despite his son's request, due her "ruining" the company's name. He was also the abusive father of the hobo that Remina meets up with, and was the primary reason for why he ran away from home and became a hobo.

According to Daisuke, his father was an abusive man that he never got along with well. When Daisuke had planned to become an astronaut, and tried to get an education, through unknown means and reasons, his father had ruined his chances of becoming an astronaut, and had to resort to running away from home. Years later, he and his wife had another child Kunihiro Mineishi.
Hellstar Remina[]
After Remina becomes a famous Japanese popstar, the Mineshi Corporation requests that she acts as their spokesmodel in advertisements. Although Remina is at first hesitant of this, her manager Yasumi pushes her towards agreeing, which she does. Yasumi and Remina then meet up with the president of the company, who introduces Remina to his son Kunihiro.
