Char Aznable has declared Primal is to be renamed to
Primal (Matt Hatter Chronicles)
for the following reason(s): Primal Dialga

Please discuss it on the talk page for this article.
"I told you I am not Casval, I am Char Aznable."

Primal is a villain in Matt Hatter Chronicles, and the main antagonist of the film, Rise of Primal.

Biography[]

Past[]

Primal was the first Coronet villain and was fought by Samuel Hatter, the first Hatter Hero, but Samuel was only able to wound him. Primal was partners with Lord Tenoroc until the latter betrayed him after getting his hands on the Triple Sphere and trapped him in a Pocket Dimension, but not before scarring his face.

Present[]

Primal is freed by Craw and appears in the Sea of Sands. He is determined to hunt down Tenoroc and destroy him for revenge. In the Region of Ruins, Bacchus is alerted and summons Roxanna and Gomez to his temple. Suddenly, Primal arrives and attacks the Region of Ruins, pushing aside the soldiers who try to stop him. Alfred feels the tremors in his prison dimension, so he contacts Matt and tells him to find Roxanna.

Primal is still causing mayhem and knocking the guards aside, so Roxanna swoops down to stop him, only to be thrown aside. Primal goes to the Temple and demands to know where Tenoroc is, while Gomez tries (futilely) to fight Primal off. Matt arrives and, seeing the chaos, saves Roxanna from an incoming spear. He then goes up to Primal and shoots a Magnetic Disruptor Beam at him, only for it to be ineffective. However, Primal smells Hatter DNA in Matt and then asks him where Tenoroc is. Tenoroc observes this all in his Triple Sphere and plans to pay Primal back for the loss of his eye.

Primal takes Matt on in combat and soon dangles him over a railing, asking him where Tenoroc is. Roxanna goes to save Matt, but Gomez holds her back. Upon learning who Primal is looking for, Matt tells Primal that he is not a friend of Tenoroc's. Tenoroc then appears to taunt Primal. Enraged, Primal drops Matt and goes to attack Tenoroc, but as it is merely a hologram, the punches are ineffective. Tenoroc slashes Primal in the eye, but that is ineffective as well. Even worse, Tenoroc leaves Multivizium behind, and Primal uses it to track him down.

Primal breaks into Carnival City to continue his search there. Wanting to know more about Primal, Matt, Roxanna, and Bacchus follow Gomez into the Keepers' Cave and learn more about Primal's history. It is then revealed that if Primal tears Tenoroc's prison dimension apart, Alfred's prison dimension will be destroyed as well, leaving him lost in limbo forever. Hearing this, Matt (reluctantly) goes to stop Primal and also save Tenoroc.

Using some petrified lava and one of Tick Tock's bombs, the gang goes back in time to learn how Samuel hurt Primal. Meanwhile, Primal is causing chaos in Carnival City while searching for Tenoroc. Tenoroc, seeing the chaos, sends Hyde out to crush Primal. While this is going on, Matt, Roxanna, and Gomez arrive in the past and go to the Ampitheater to see the fight.

There, Samuel blast Primal with a Gamma Blast, but Primal isn't hurt. After being chased for a while, Samuel uses his Multivision Goggles to see a river of lava under the floor. Primal goes up to Samuel to destroy him, but a younger Bacchus catapults a rock and causes some lava to spurt out. Some of it falls on Primal, causing him great pain. Unfortunately, a chasm opens, and Samuel is left dangling on a ledge. Even worse, Gomez drops the bomb, which trips Bacchus up, causing him to hurt his back. Fortunately, Bacchus is still able to save Samuel. Primal flees in agony.

Matt, Roxanna, and Gomez return to the present, whereupon Bacchus informs them of what is going on at Carnival City. Matt sends Roxanna and Gomez to the Enchanted Forest to awaken the Amber Dragon. Taking the Navi-Cube with him, he goes to slow Primal down.

Primal has defeated Hyde and tells Tenoroc to recall him. Tenoroc does, and sends the Mummy. He uses his wrap as a lasso and hurls a pipe at Primal, but Primal, unaffected, simply grabs the lasso and pulls him down. Later, the Mummy jumps on Matt's hoverbike to destroy him, but is thrown off. He tries to grab Matt, but Tenoroc tells him to stop Primal.

Primal blindfolds the Mummy with his own wrap, and the Mummy walks into a pole, causing him to go hologram. However, Tenoroc recalls the Mummy before Matt can capture him. Primal prepares to go to the Sea of Sands, but Matt uses the cube to send him to the Enchanted Forest instead. There, Gomez summons the Tuk Tuks to surround Primal while Roxanna brings the Amber Dragon to burn Primal. However, Primal is merely hurt and escapes to the Sea of Sands, where Matt chases him.

Primal changes to his Sand Form, which heals his injuries. Tenoroc employs four Spatter Traps at once to stop him, but Matt is also sucked in. Much to Tenoroc's chagrin, Primal eventually breaks out. However, Matt is stuck in a web, but he eventually convinces Tenoroc to work with him.

Roxanna and Gomez track Primal as he heads to the Golden Temple. Suddenly, Matt comes out of the Spatter Trap and tells them of his plan. Primal is just getting ready to break into Tenoroc's dimension when Matt and his friends arrive. Gomez blinds Primal with pterodactyl spit, while Roxanna whacks Primal on the back, causing him to drop his Aether Ax. Matt grabs the Ax and flies with it. Primal climbs up the Pyramid after him, but Matt puts the Ax on the tip of the Pyramid, allowing Tenoroc to make his move. He sends lightning down on Primal, turning him to glass, resulting in him going hologram and being captured by Matt.

Powers and Abilities[]

Primal is very strong and able to cripple entire dimensions. He can also track Multivizium and change his body to match the elements of his surroundings.

Weaknesses[]

Primal's ability to change his body to match the elements of his surroundings can be exploited by hitting him with the logical weaknesses of said elements, leaving him at an elemental disadvantage.

Trivia[]

  • Primal is the only villain in the show who is not a minion of Lord Tenoroc. However, he was once a partner of Tenoroc.
  • As no episodes have been produced since Rise of Primal, Primal is the last character introduced in the whole series.
