John, more commonly referred to as Proctor John, is an antagonist in Fear the Walking Dead. He is the president of the Proctors motorcycle gang, and the main antagonist of the second half of Season 3.
He is portrayed by Ray McKinnon, who also portrayed Vernon T. Waldrip in O Brother, Where Art Thou?.
Biography[]
Before the outbreak, Proctor John's gang ran between the United States and Mexico, and their mother chapter was situated in Southern California.
When the outbreak started, the Proctors occupied and abandoned bullfighting arena and set up a trading outpost, which attracted other survivors.
Eventually, Victor Strand makes a deal with Proctor John to ensure the safety of Madison Clark and her two children, Nicholas and Alicia, in exchange for the takeover of Gonzalez Dam. With Alicia in tow, John and his Proctors invade the dam by boat and are met with resistance from the inhabitants there. The dam was then destroyed by Nick and John was forced to flee.
It is unknown what happened to John following the dam's destruction.
