Appearance[]

Biography[]
Professor Bug built tiny screw-shaped, bug-like robots to take control of all of Mega City's robots so he can get whatever he wants and rule the city. He infected a few in the suburbs to cause petty chaos and distract Austin, the city's only repairman. He's almost caught while laughing maniacally during a check-up on one of his bugs. While Austin is distracted, he manages to gain control of every robot in the city except Robot Roscoe, the robot of Repairman Austin. He projected a live recording of himself onto numerous giant screens in the city to announce his rule over it by song. He then tried to have Austin, Roscoe, Uniqua, Tyrone, and Tasha captured by impending robot masses, but they managed to get away into Rapid Robot Repair. He celebrated his victory with another musical number with robots as backup dancers. After finding out that Roscoe remains uninfected, he became angry and sent out Rex Robot, his own creation, to capture him.
Austin, Uniqua, Tyrone, and Tasha managed to infiltrate his heavily-guarded lab by disguising as robots. Austin knocked out a robot and gave Professor Bug his rocky road, who then ordered the robots around some more. Austin and Roscoe used this opportunity to blend in and learn that the remote is how he controls the robots. An infuriated Professor Bug sent out every infected robot in the lab to find Roscoe, leaving him unguarded. He demanded more rocky road from Austin, but he grabbed the remote out of Professor Bug's hand, who activated the alarms. With their covers blown, Austin and Roscoe tried to flee, but Rex Robot showed up and a chase around the lab began as everyone tried to get their hands on the remote. Bug eventually conceded as Rex Robot was shut down by Austin and agreed to help repair all of the city's robots because of all the damage he caused.
