Professtro is a one-time villain from the FOX animated sitcom, Futurama, only appearing in the episode "Saturday Morning Fun Pit". He is a parody on Professor Farnsworth, who only exists as a fictional-fictional supervillain in the in-universe cartoon, "G.I. Zapp". He is the leader of the terrorist organization, A.C.R.O.N.Y.M..
He is voiced by Billy West, who also voiced two other Futurama villains, Richard Nixon and Zapp Brannigan, as well as Ren Höek in The Ren and Stimpy Show.
Biography[]
In "Saturday Morning Fun Pit", Richard Nixon and Spiro Agnew watched G.I. Zapp. In the cartoon, Professtro led A.C.R.O.N.Y.M. in attacking and killing G.I. Zapp. At Fort Weaponsworth, Professtro sat with his evil sidekick, Zoidberg and prepared to fire a deadly surface to air missile at the G.I. Zapps. Zoidberg commented on the greatness of Professtro's plan and said that his missile shot will surely send the G.I. Zapp team to Hell. Professtro fired the missile at the plane and blew it up. Everybody except for Kif evacuated, leading to the latter's death.
When the G.I. Zapp team arrived at Fort Weaponsworth, Professtro ordered his minions to attack them, which is exactly what they did, leading to the death of Freezer Burn. The rest of them team was infuriated with their killing of Freezer Burn and they all attacked the A.C.R.O.N.Y.M. soldiers. This was the last that was ever seen of Professtro and the story ended on a cliffhanger because at this point, Richard Nixon decided that the show was too violent and turned off the TV.
