The unnamed protagonist is the main protagonist of the 2018 Christmas single "I'm Gonna Kill Santa Claus" created by Danny Gonzalez.
He is a psychopathic man who, after continuously receiving the "wrong" toys from Santa Claus, makes it his ambition to take his life in order to hijack his role and reap all the benefits of being Santa Claus for himself.
He was portrayed by Daniel Gonzalez.
Personality[]
Throughout the song, the protagonist shows himself to be arrogant, murderous, and completely psychopathic in nature, being completely ungreatful towards the Christmas Presents he receives each year, so much so that he decides to kill Santa Claus just so he can get all the presents he pleases. He is completely apathetic towards ending Santa's life, even seeming to show sadism at the idea of it.
He also has hints of a perverted side as seen by him being thrilled at the idea of being able to sleep with Santa's wife once he becomes him.
Biography[]
According to this song, prior to this murderous adventure that he's going down, the protagonist was a well-behaved child who would always put milk and cookies out for Santa Claus whenever Christmas came around, yet no matter how good he tried to be, he would never receive the toy that he wanted, almost giving up on the holiday spirit entirely, he would receive a sudden spark of inspiration upon seeing the 1994 Christmas classic "The Santa Clause" where it's shown that all it takes to be the next Santa Claus is to kill him and take his coat.
Forming together a scheme to assasinate Santa Claus and take the role for himself, the protagonist begins rigging his house with various traps in order to catch his prey, including that of leaving his fireplace active during the night in hopes that Santa would burn himself alive upon going down his chimney, as well as dumping a whole bottle of sleeping pills into a glass of milk in hopes of either having Santa die of an overdose or causing him to fall asleep so that the protagonist and kill him when he's unconscious. It's also implied that he intends to hang Santa's body from his Christmas tree if the shot showing him making a noose out of red garlands are any indication.
Throughout the song, the protagonist tells the viewers what he intends to do upon inheriting the role of Santa, gleefully expressing his plans to enslave Santa's elves and force them to make Christmas presents for him to wake up to in the morning, he also expresses excitement towards the idea of being able to sleep with Santa's wife once he inherits the role.
Throughout the song, the protagonist reiterates again and again how completely apathetic he is toward the idea of killing Santa Claus, going as far as to write-up a list of all the fucks he gave about ending Santa's life before stating that he found none, he also expresses confusion towards how anyone could believe that Santa wasn't real and why adults aren't concerned about all the gifts under the tree that they didn't buy.
