King Proum Jioral, also called "The Source of All Evil" by Keyarga, is the main antagonist of the 2017 dark fantasy series Redo of Healer. He is the tyrannical king of the Jioral Kingdom, the abusive father of Flare Arlgrande Jioral and Norn Clatalissa Jioral and, last but not least, the archenemy and later victim of Keyarga.
Following his death by the "Healing Hero", Keyarga took Proum's throne and replaced him as the new king of the Jioral Kingdom.
In the anime, he was voiced by Takaya Hashi.
Personality[]
King Jioral presented himself the benevolent figure and shown kindness as he swore to protect humanity from demons. However, in truth, he is an arrogant, selfish, tyrannical, prideful, power hungry and sadistic king who care nothing about his citizens or other villages when he allowed his troops to capture and enslave the innocence humans and demi-humans alike. During his obsession for power, he instigated and psychologically abusing his own daughters into having a sibling rivalry of who become a "hero" and a worthy success heiress.
He is also a failure intolerance when anyone who failed him, he will punished them such as when he punished the knight captain, Renard and demoted him for his failure to protect Flare from her supposedly death by Keyarga.
Like his daughters, he is also a coward when Keyarga who is the "killer" of both his daughters when seek out to kill him and "avenge" Flare and Norn. He is a manipulative liar when he deceived everyone in order cover up his figure as a "benevolent king". After the entire villages turned against the Jioral, he feared that he would be overthrown and killed by those who turn against him.
