Modern Age[]

Psimon's original design
Simon Jones was a physicist who had devoted his scientific life to unlocking the secret of the barriers that separated the myriad dimensions, a puzzle that had obsessed him for years. While pursuing his experiments, Jones was struck by a beam of light that come from the realm of Trigon, an interdimensional demonic lord who transformed Simon into a psionic being of almost unlimited power.
Jones adepted the name Psimon and turned his newfound powers to evil, eventually joining the Fearsome Five along with Gizmo, Jinx, Mammoth, or Shimmer, under the instigation and guidance of Dr. Light.
The new villanous team eventually faced the Teen Titans, and though not defeated, neither were they victorious. Psimon wrested control of the group from Dr. Light alter a subsequent and successful assault on the Titans, resulting in their capture, and tumed the defeated heroes over to Trigon. Psimon and the Five became deeply embroiled in the ensuing battle between Trigon and the Titans, in the course of which Psimon incurred his creator's wrath. As punishment, Trigon banished him to another dimension. The Fearsome Five later returned to free Psimon from his captivity, resulting in further encounters with the Teen Titans, as well as the Outsiders, including one scheme engineered by Psimon to gain control of New York City through nuclear blackmail.
During the battle between the Five and the Titans for the fate of the city, Psimon was teleported abord the satellite headquarters of The Monitor, who enslited Psimon's help during the Crisis on Infinite Earths. Psimon grew deeply involved in the events of the crisis, ultimately joining forces with several other supervillains in a plot to take advantage of the destructive forces in the universe.
His attempt to stop a double cross by his cohorts Lex Luthor and Brainiac lead to Psimon's apparently death at the hands of Brainiac, whom he believed he had just slain. However, Psimon has survived and returned to Earth to seek revenge on The Five, who had previously betrayed him. He was later finally killed years later by The Joker during the "Salvation Run" storyline, who smashed.his brain in with a rock repeatedly.

Powers and Abilities[]
Psimon possessed telepathic and telekinetic powers of an extraordinary nature, and was able to control virtually any mind, regardless of its strength, and to telepathically command a person to die. He could also lift and move objects solely through the use of will power. The true limits of Psimon's abilities were never charted, but considering his powers were a gift from the interdimensional demon Trigon, it is assumed that they were virtually limitless.

Teen Titans[]

Psimon
Nothing was known if Psimon faced the Teen Titans before he joined the Brotherhood of Evil. On the Brotherhood's orders, Psimon was sent with Kyd Wykkyd to defeat Raven. After a fierce aerial battle, in which Psimon shot a powerful psychic beam against Raven's magic beam, he opened a psychic portal in which Raven was pushed in by Kyd Wykkyd, banishing her to an unknown location.
However, Raven returned to join the Titans' battle with the villains. She confronted Psimon once again and used her Raven aura to shield herself from his psychic powers. She got close enough to knock him out by giving him a hard kick. Psimon was then picked up by Kid Flash and was flash-frozen with the other supervillains. Psimon is in command of powerful psychic powers, the extent of which is unknown. The only powers he demonstrated are levitation, shooting psychic beams, and opening psychic gateways.
